ETERNAL anticorrosive acrylic is designed to protect metal structures against corrosion as a primer. It is also suitable for mixed structures where steel is connected with new, non-corroded galvanized sheet metal.
Application:
ETERNAL anticorrosive acrylic is applied in 2 coats to a well-cleaned metal substrate, free from all non-adhering old coatings and corrosion products (e.g., with a rotating steel brush) and degreased, using ETERNAL degreaser. The paint must be applied immediately after cleaning the substrate. It is not intended for spraying with electric vibrating guns. The time between individual coats is 5 hours at 20°C. Coating of steel substrates should be done in a dry environment. The minimum temperature of the substrate and the environment during application is 10°C. In cold weather, it is advisable to first apply a very thin coat so that it dries quickly. The dried primer must be covered (1-2 coats) with a topcoat, e.g., ETERNAL matte acrylic.
