The Fronton powdered color is used for tinting paint colors and other construction or mineral materials in interiors and exteriors. The color shades are permanent and have a long lifespan.
Recommended coating procedure
Before applying the paint, clean the plaster of dust, if necessary wash with water and repair with mortar as needed. The plaster intended for coating must be firm, non-crumbling, sufficiently rough, dry, and mature. Multiple old thick lime coatings must be removed by scraping after prior moistening with water. Plasters painted with oil paints are not suitable for coating with paint tinted with FRONTON. The ambient temperature and the substrate must not drop below 5 °C during application; do not carry out in intense sunlight. The second coat can be applied after 2 – 5 hours. It is applied with a brush.
Lighter shade:
5 kg of FRONTON color is poured into 3 l of soft water and mixed well; after 2 – 3 hours, the resulting paste is mixed into 50 l of paint.
Darker shade:
10 kg of FRONTON color is poured into 5 l of soft water and mixed well; after 2 – 3 hours, the resulting paste is mixed into 50 l of paint.
Recommended application methods:
With a brush, spraying depending on the binder used and the purpose of use.
Yield:
50l of paint / 100m² with 2 coats.
