Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is intended for protective staining coatings for soft and hard wood exposed to weather conditions, as well as for interior coatings (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It penetrates deeply into the structure of the wood and emphasizes its texture. It provides long-term protection for wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 - natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, and free from residues of resin. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be stripped of all resin exudates in advance, for example by washing with nitro thinner BALTECH C6000. The quality of the wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and the overall lifespan of the coating system.

The wood surface intended for outdoor use must first be impregnated with an appropriate fungicidal impregnation agent that protects the wood from mold, fungi, and insects, for example, using LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use should first be impregnated with a colorless stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Impregnation with a colorless impregnating agent ensures uniform absorption of the substrate by the wood before the application of the coating materials. Subsequently, the wood surface must be sanded with fine sandpaper and then the impregnating stain is applied. In renovation coatings, the wood must be stripped of any old non-adhering layers, for example by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (mainly for cleaning tools)

Theoretical yield: 13-15 m²/l for one layer depending on substrate absorption

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing onto the prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted; it is already at the application viscosity. During work, it is necessary to regularly mix the staining varnish. For indoor use, it is applied in 1 to 2 layers; for outdoor coatings, it is advisable to use three layers, but only with colored shades. Colorless stain is intended for interior coatings. Individual coatings can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To uniformly highlight the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off any excess varnish with a dry brush or cloth 10 to 15 minutes after application.

For uniform areas, always use material from the same production batch. Using the same production batch guarantees the same color shade. The type, surface, and previous coat of the wood affect the final shade of the coating, so we recommend performing a test coat before the final application. Complaints about color shades will only be accepted with a complaint about the test area.

For high gloss, the dried coat made with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or the natural shade of the stain LAZUROL GOLD S1037. Floors can be overcoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKABLE VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (cloths, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with stain must be disposed of safely, as they may self-ignite under certain conditions.

Tinting: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
