Detecha Superkov Satin 2v1 primer and top coat for metal is a newly developed coating with a silky gloss appearance in an attractive modern color range. It is a primer and top coat in one, which provides not only an attractive appearance but also perfect anti-corrosion protection. It reliably acts against all weather influences including UV radiation. It is highly flexible and withstands significant temperature fluctuations. For long-term protection (up to 8 years), 2 layers of Superkov Satin are sufficient without a prior primer.

Use of the metal paint:

Outdoor and indoor coatings for metals. Sheet metal roofing, gates, gutters, window sills, frames, fencing, steel structures, pipes, and other metal materials. We recommend allowing galvanized sheets to naturally oxidize. For corroded surfaces, we recommend treating them in advance with Fest Primer.

• Substrate: steel, cast iron, galvanized steel, titanzinc, aluminum, copper. We recommend painting fresh galvanized sheets after 1 year of exposure to weather conditions.
• Environment: interior, exterior with higher corrosion exposure (wet areas, industrial spaces)
• Examples: sheet metal roofing, gates, gutters, window sills, frames, fencing, steel structures, pipes, etc.

Coverage:
Theoretical coverage per layer is 9 - 11 m² from 1 kg of coating with the usual thickness of the dried film of 40 - 50 µm (corresponding wet thickness is 75 - 95 µm). Actual coverage depends on the quality of the substrate and the method of application. Maximum durability can be achieved with proper application and a dry coating thickness of 100 - 150 µm.

Substrate preparation and application method:
Coated surfaces must be dry, degreased, free of dirt, rust and old non-adhering coatings. We recommend cleaning with high-pressure water jet with a rotary nozzle. Before use, the contents of the can should be thoroughly mixed, or diluted (5-10% thinner) to the required consistency. To ensure compatibility of the new coating with any old coating, it is advisable to carry out a test coat on a small area. The coating is applied with a brush, roller, or spraying in 2 - 3 layers at a temperature of +5 to +25 °C. The interval between individual coats is at least 18 hours at a temperature of 20 °C. For spray application, it is also possible to proceed with the wet-on-wet method after partial evaporation of solvents from the previous coating (i.e. approximately after 30 minutes). The coating dries to the touch in up to 6 hours and fully cures in 48 hours. Lower temperatures or increased humidity may extend the drying time. Do not work in direct bright sunlight! When painting large continuous areas, we recommend using products from the same production batch, or mixing the contents of individual containers in a larger vessel to ensure color uniformity. Surfaces difficult to clean from corrosion deposits should be pre-treated with the anchoring polyurethane product Fest Primer. This will enhance the quality and longevity of the entire coating system.
