DENAS UNIVERSAL-GLOSS top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0220 light brown, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL is a top water-dilutable paint for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, certain types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, drywall. It meets the standard for surface finishes of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk, or become brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and weather, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. Painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and show a long service life both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Appendix No. 2, III. Chemical substances, item 12 and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by Ministry of Health Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure that the product placed on the market complies with the technical documentation and the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of the certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-cohesive layers of older coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1-2 coats of anti-corrosive primer DENAS ON METAL-PRIMER or DENAS ON METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. For wooden substrates, first level them with DENAS ON WOOD-PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a 1:1 ratio with water, applying 1-2 coats depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. We recommend protecting exterior wood to depth with a suitable impregnant with biocidal effects. For mineral substrates, apply 1-2 coats of a penetrating agent followed by the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and relative humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

Under normal use, there are no situations where immediate medical assistance would be necessary. Recommendations: When working, observe personal hygiene principles. Ensure ventilation in the workplace. When applying by spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of leftover paint and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in its original unopened container for at least up to the date indicated on the lid.
