DENAS UNIVERSAL is a top water-dilutable paint for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal, as well as galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, certain types of plastics, melamine, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, and drywall. It complies with the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children from 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, Part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk or become brittle due to UV radiation and weather influences, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. The painted surfaces are extremely mechanically durable and exhibit a long lifespan in both interior and exterior applications.

The product is safe under specified use conditions and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years (according to EN 71, Part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as specified by Ministry of Health Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures to ensure the product's compliance with technical documentation and essential requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of the certificates during tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.
Application procedure:
The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, non-adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1-2 layers of the anti-corrosive primer DENAS ON METAL-PRIMER or DENAS ON METALS 2IN1, then apply the topcoat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS ON WOOD-PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a 1:1 ratio with water, applying 1-2 layers depending on the porosity of the wood. Then apply the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. For exterior wood, we recommend protection to depth with a suitable wood preservative with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a penetrating agent in 1-2 layers and then apply the topcoat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and the air humidity is up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:
Under normal use, there are no situations that would require immediate medical assistance. Recommendation: Observe personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure ventilation of the workspace. When spraying, use respiratory protection. If contact with eyes occurs, rinse with water.
Waste disposal:
Dispose of leftover paint and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its usable properties in the original unopened container at least until the date specified on the lid.
