DENAS UNIVERSAL-GLOSS topcoat for wood, metal and concrete, 0220 light brown, 700 g

Water-dilutable topcoat DENAS UNIVERSAL is used for coating building elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, freshly galvanized sheet metal, galvanized roofing templates, aluminum, some types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with silane additives, and drywall. It complies with the surface treatment standards for products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is approved for contact with food. The paint film excels with high durability, does not chalk or become brittle due to UV radiation and weather conditions, and withstands common household cleaning agents. Treated surfaces exhibit extreme mechanical resistance and long durability both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the specified conditions of use and meets hygienic requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Appendix No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets hygienic requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by Regulation of the Ministry of Health No. 38/2001 Coll., in its valid version for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure the compliance of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and fundamental requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of the certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1–2 layers of anti-corrosion base DENAS FOR METAL-BASE or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the topcoat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS FOR WOOD-BASE or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERSAL at a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1–2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the topcoat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. For wood outdoors, we recommend protecting it with a suitable penetrating agent with biocidal effects. For mineral substrates, protect them with a penetrative coating in 1–2 layers followed by the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.
