DENAS UNIVERSAL is a top water-dilutable paint for coatings of building elements and structures made of wood, metal, construction materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, certain types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, gypsum board. It meets the surface treatment standards for products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. Coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and weather, and are resistant to cleaning agents used in households. Coated surfaces are extremely mechanically durable and exhibit a long lifespan in both interior and exterior applications.

The product is safe under specified usage conditions and complies with hygienic requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets the hygienic requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by Ministry of Health Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure the compliance of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and with the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certifications when tinting outside of the manufacturer's premises.
Application procedure:
The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 layers of anti-corrosion primer DENAS FOR METAL-PRIMER or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS FOR WOOD-PRIMER or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in a 1:1 ratio with water, and that in 1–2 layers considering the absorbency of the wood. Then apply the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. Wood in the exterior is recommended to be protected to depth with suitable impregnation with biocidal effects. Protection of mineral substrates should be done by coating in 1–2 layers with a penetrating agent followed by the top covering paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature during application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:
In normal use, situations requiring immediate medical assistance do not occur. Recommendation: Follow personal hygiene guidelines while working. Ensure ventilation of the work area. When spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.
Waste disposal:
Dispose of paint residues and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product maintains its usability properties in the original unopened container for at least until the date indicated on the lid.
