Water-dilutable top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL is intended for painting building structures and elements made of wood, metal, building materials, freshly galvanized sheet metal, galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, selected types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with silane additive, and drywall. It meets the requirements of the standard for surface treatments of objects and toys for children from 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings formed are distinguished by high durability, and under the influence of weather conditions and UV radiation, they do not chalk or become brittle and can withstand the effects of common household cleaning agents. Treated surfaces have exceptional mechanical resistance and achieve long durability in both indoor and outdoor environments.

See Declaration of Conformity. The product is safe under the specified conditions of use and meets the hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years old (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets the hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by Ministry of Health Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure compliance of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and with the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of the certifications when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.
Application procedure:
The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1-2 layers of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION BASE or DENAS ON METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be equalized with DENAS ON WOOD BASE or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1-2 layers considering the wood's absorbency. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. For outdoor wood, we recommend protecting it with a suitable impregnant with biocidal effects. For mineral substrates, protect them with a primer in 1-2 layers followed by the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature during application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70 %.

Safety and hygiene of the paint for wood and metal:
In normal use, situations requiring immediate medical assistance do not occur. Recommendation: Follow the principles of personal hygiene during work. Ensure workplace ventilation. When spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.
Waste disposal:
Dispose of paint residues and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original unopened package for at least until the date stated on the lid.
