DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0240 dark brown, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a top water-based paint for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, certain types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, plasterboard. It complies with standards for surface treatment of products and toys for children from 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The created coatings excel in high resistance; due to UV radiation and weather influences, they do not chalk or become brittle and resist common household cleaning agents. Treated surfaces exhibit extreme mechanical resistance along with long-lasting durability in both indoor and outdoor environments.

The product is safe under the specified conditions of use and meets hygienic requirements for toys and products for children aged up to 3 years (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets hygienic requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., in its valid wording for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures that ensure the product's compliance with the technical documentation and essential requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of the certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer’s facility.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1-2 layers of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION PRIMER or DENAS 2in1 PRIMER, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be leveled with DENAS WOOD PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, applied in 1-2 layers depending on the wood's absorbency. Then apply the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. For exterior wood, we recommend protecting it deeply with a suitable wood impregnator with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a primer applied in 1-2 layers and then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and the air humidity up to 70%.
