DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0110 light gray, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a water-based top coat for coatings of building elements and structures made of wood, metal, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, some types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, drywall. It complies with the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children from 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent resistance, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and weathering, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. The coated surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and exhibit a long lifespan in both interior and exterior applications.

The product is safe under specified usage conditions and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Appendix No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and at the same time meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as stipulated in the Ministry of Health Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., in its valid version for white bases. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures to ensure that the product placed on the market complies with the technical documentation and the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of attestations when tinting outside the manufacturer’s location.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 coats of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION PRIMER or DENAS 2IN1 PRIMER, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. For wooden substrates, first equalize with DENAS WOOD PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a 1:1 ratio with water, in 1–2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. For exterior wood, it is recommended to protect up to depth with suitable impregnating agents with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with 1–2 coats of primer and subsequently apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature during application and drying is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70 %.
