DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0110 light gray, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a top water-based paint for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, freshly galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, certain types of plastics, hardboard, ceramic tiles with added silane, drywall. It meets the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to UV radiation and weather influences, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. Painted surfaces are extremely mechanically durable and have a long lifespan indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under specified usage conditions and meets the hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets the hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as set by MZČR Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure that the product marketed is in accordance with the technical documentation and the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer’s premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of impurities, non-adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1-2 layers of anti-corrosion base DENAS NA KOV-ZÁKLAD or DENAS NA KOVY 2V1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS NA DŘEVO-ZÁKLAD or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in a ratio of 1:1 with water, applied in 1-2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then make a final coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. For outdoor wood, it is recommended to protect it to depth with a suitable impregnation with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates by applying 1-2 layers of a penetrating agent and subsequently the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of wood and metal paint:

Under normal usage, situations requiring immediate medical assistance do not occur. Recommendations: Follow personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure ventilation of the work area. When spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.

Disposal of waste:

Dispose of paint residues and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its utility properties in the original unopened container for at least until the date indicated on the lid/cap.
