Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T024 cedar, 2.5 l

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is intended for protective stain coatings for soft and hard wood, exposed to weather influences, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration for wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates the wood structure and accentuates its grain. It provides long-term protection of the wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easy to renew, and do not crack. Shade T000 - natural is only for interior use!!

Application examples: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration for wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture content of 12%, free of resin residues before application. Wood with increased resin content (larch, pine) must be pre-treated to remove all resin exudates, e.g. by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and also the overall lifespan of the coating system.

The wood surface intended for outdoor use must first be pre-treated with an appropriate fungicidal primer, which ensures protection against mold, fungi, and insects, e.g. with LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033. The wood surface intended for indoor use should first be treated with a clear wood stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Priming with a clear sealer ensures even absorption of the base by the wood before subsequent application of the coating materials. It is then necessary to lightly sand the wood surface and only then apply the penetrating stain. For renovation coatings, the wood must be stripped of old, non-adhering layers, e.g. by sanding.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Applied with a brush after thorough mixing on the prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted, it is already at application viscosity. During application, the stain should be stirred regularly. For indoor use, apply in 1 to 2 coats; for outdoor coatings, it is advisable to apply three coats, but only in colored shades. Clear stain is intended for interior coatings. Individual coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To evenly enhance the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off the unabsorbed stain after 10 to 15 minutes of application using a dry brush or cloth.

For cohesive surfaces, always use material from one production batch. When using the same production batch, the same color shade is guaranteed. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood influence the final shade of the coating, so we recommend performing a test coating before the final application. Complaints about color shades will only be recognized upon complaint of the test area.

For high gloss, the dried coat applied with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or the natural shade of LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. Floors can be overcoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKING VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with stain must be disposed of safely, as they can self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Tinting: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
