Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T024 cedar, 2.5 l

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is designed for protective staining coatings for soft and hard wood exposed to weather conditions, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall coverings and ceilings, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates the structure of the wood and highlights its grain. It provides long-term protection of wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are color-fast, easy to restore, and do not crack. Shade T000 - natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall coverings and ceilings, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture content of 12%, free of resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be free of all resin exudates beforehand, e.g., by washing with BALTECH C6000 nitro thinner. The quality of the wood pre-treatment determines the overall appearance of the final wood finish and the overall lifespan of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must first be impregnated with a suitable fungicidal primer that protects the wood against mold, fungi, and insects, e.g., using LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use should first be impregnated with LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 clear stain or the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. The penetration with a clear primer ensures uniform absorbency of the substrate before applying the coatings. Subsequently, the surface of the wood must be sanded with fine sandpaper before applying the impregnation stain. In the case of renovation coatings, the wood must be stripped of old non-adhering layers, e.g., by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical yield: 13-15 m²/l per coat depending on the absorbency of the substrate

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on the pre-prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted, it is already in the application viscosity. During work, it is necessary to regularly stir the staining lacquer. For indoor use, apply in 1 to 2 coats; for outdoor coatings, it is advisable to use three coats, but only with colored shades. The clear stain is intended for indoor coatings. Individual coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. For uniform highlighting of the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe the non-absorbed lacquer after 10 to 15 minutes of application using a dry brush or cloth.

Always use material from one production batch for complete areas. Using the same production batch ensures the same color shade. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the final shade of the coating; therefore, we recommend performing a test coating before the final application. Claims regarding color shades will only be recognized in the case of claims regarding the test area.

For high gloss, the dried coating performed with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be topped with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or the natural shade of LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. Floors can be retouched with LAZUROL OUTDOOR FOOT TRAFFIC VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with stain must be disposed of safely, as they may self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Tinting: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
