DENAS UNIVERSAL-GLOSS top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0230 medium brown, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL is a top water-soluble paint for coatings of building elements and constructions made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal as well as galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, some types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with silane additives, and gypsum board. It meets the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children from 0-3 years old (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk or become brittle due to UV radiation and weather influences, and are resistant to cleaning agents used in households. The coated surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and demonstrate a long lifespan in both interior and exterior applications.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets the hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years old (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, item 12 and also meets the hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, set by Health Ministry Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures to ensure compliance of the product placed on the market with technical documentation and basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of the attestations when tinting outside the manufacturer's site.

Working procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1-2 layers of anti-corrosive primer DENAS FOR METAL-PRIMER or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS FOR WOOD-PRIMER or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1-2 layers considering the absorbency of the wood. Then conduct the top coating with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. Wood in exterior is recommended to be protected to depth with a suitable impregnator with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a coat of 1-2 layers of penetrating agent followed by the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70 %.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

In normal use, there are no situations where immediate medical assistance would be necessary. Recommendation: When working, observe personal hygiene principles. Ensure proper ventilation of the workspace. When applying by spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of leftover paint and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original unopened container for at least until the date indicated on the lid.
