DENAS UNIVERSAL-GLOSS top coat for wood, metal, and concrete, 0660 ochre, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL is a top water-dilutable paint for coating construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, certain types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with added silane, drywall. It meets the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent resistance, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and weather, and are resistant to cleaning agents used in households. Coated surfaces are extremely mechanically durable and exhibit long-lasting performance both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years old (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by Ministry of Health Decree No. 38/2001 Coll., in valid wording for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure the compliance of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and with the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certifications when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1-2 layers of anti-corrosive primer DENAS FOR METAL-PRIMER or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS FOR WOOD-PRIMER or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1-2 layers considering the absorptive capacity of the wood. Then proceed with the top coat using undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. We recommend protecting outdoor wood to a depth with suitable impregnators with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates by applying 1-2 layers of a penetrating agent, followed by the top coating paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity should be below 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

Under normal use, there are no situations requiring immediate medical assistance. Recommendations: Follow personal hygiene principles during work. Ensure ventilation of the work area. When spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of paint residues and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original unopened packaging for at least the date indicated on the lid.
