ETERNAL IN steril is a white washable dispersion paint designed to prevent and suppress biotic damage to walls in interiors by mold, bacteria, and other microorganisms. It is suitable for environments where maximum sterility is desired (operating theaters, hospital areas, food processing facilities, places with high humidity and a great risk of mold and bacteria occurrence). In households, it creates a healthy environment, especially for allergy sufferers and asthmatics. ETERNAL IN steril does not contain any hazardous or biocidal substances, which makes it one of the highly ecological products on the market.
It is vapor permeable, has no unpleasant odor, is resistant to abrasion when wet and dry, and is suitable for application on renovation plasters. It is designed for use on lime, lime-cement and gypsum plasters, acrylic plasters, concrete, dispersion and silicate coatings, drywall, fiberboard, fiber-cement, cement-bonded particle boards, and other absorbent substrates.
Application:
ETERNAL IN steril is applied with a roller, brush, or pad on clean, dry, and cohesive substrates matured for 4 to 6 weeks, free from lime efflorescence. They must be free from biological infestations; we recommend the ETERNAL mold remover for removing mold, old chalky, and other non-adherent coatings, or degreased with a solution of ETERNAL degreaser concentrate. For highly absorbent substrates, we recommend priming with ETERNAL universal primer or FORTE primer. Stains penetrating from the substrate should be covered before painting with ETERNAL IN stop isolation paint.
ETERNAL IN steril should be properly mixed before use. Only distilled or demineralized water should be used for dilution! Using drinking water destroys the antibacterial effect of the coating! The application is carried out at ambient and substrate temperatures between 5 and 25 °C in two steps. In the first step, pour part of the product into a dry and clean container and perform the first coat. This prevents possible dusting of the substrate surface and possible contamination of the product. Do not return the remaining paint to the original container! After the first coat has dried, apply the final coat. Use clean tools to avoid possible contamination of the product.
Coverage:
0.20—0.30 kg/m² for 2 layers depending on the absorbency, porosity, and structure of the substrate
Warning:
Use biocidal products safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
