DENAS UNIVERSAL-GLOSS top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0440 blue, 700 g

The water-based top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL represents a paint for coating construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, freshly galvanized sheet metal, and galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, certain types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, and drywall. It complies with the standard for surface finishes of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, Part 3) and is approved for contact with food. The resulting coatings feature high durability, do not chalk or become brittle from weathering and UV radiation, and reliably resist cleaning agents used in households. The treated surface shows extreme mechanical resistance along with a long lifespan both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years (according to EN 71, Part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Appendix No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, stipulated by the Ministry of Health Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures to ensure that the products marketed are in accordance with technical documentation and the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1-2 layers of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION PRIMER or DENAS 2-in-1 on METAL, then apply the DENAS UNIVERSAL top coat in 1-2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS WOOD PRIMER or with diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1-2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. We recommend protecting exterior wood up to depth with a suitable impregnator that has biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates by coating with 1-2 layers of a penetrating agent and then applying the DENAS UNIVERSAL top coat in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the paint is +10 °C and the ambient humidity is up to 70 %.
