DENAS UNIVERSAL-GLOSS top coat for wood, metal, and concrete, 0440 blue, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL is a top water-based paint for coatings of building elements and constructions made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing panels, aluminum, certain types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, drywall. It meets the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk or become brittle under the influence of UV radiation and weather conditions, and are resistant to cleaning agents used in households. The painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and show a long lifespan both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the specified conditions of use and meets hygienic requirements for toys and products for children aged up to 3 years (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation no. 86/2011 Coll., annex 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets the hygienic requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as established by Regulation MZČR no. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures to ensure the conformity of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and with the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1-2 layers of the corrosion-resistant primer DENAS NA KOV-ZÁKLAD or DENAS NA KOVY 2V1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS NA DŘEVO-ZÁKLAD or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1-2 layers considering the absorbency of the wood. Then, perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. For external wood, it is recommended to protect it deeply with a suitable impregnator with biocidal effects. Protection of mineral substrates should be done by applying 1-2 coats of a penetrating agent and subsequently the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity should be under 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

Under normal use, there are no situations that require immediate medical assistance. Recommendation: When working, observe the rules of personal hygiene. Ensure proper ventilation of the workplace. When applying by spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of paint residues and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original unopened packaging for at least until the date indicated on the lid/top.
