DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0815 red, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a top water-based paint for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal, galvanized roofing templates, aluminum, certain types of plastics, laminated particleboard, ceramic tiles with a silane additive, plasterboard. It meets the standard for finishes of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent resistance, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to exposure to UV radiation and weather conditions, and are resistant to cleaning agents commonly used in households. The coated surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and exhibit a long lifespan both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., in its current wording for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure that the product placed on the market complies with technical documentation and essential requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of approvals when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application Procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1-2 coats of the anti-corrosive primer DENAS FOR METAL-PRIMER or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS FOR WOOD-PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1-2 coats depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. Wood in the exterior is recommended to be protected to a depth with a suitable impregnating agent with biocidal effects. The protection of mineral substrates is carried out by coating in 1-2 layers with a penetrating agent and subsequently using the top coating paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the paint is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

Under normal use conditions, situations requiring immediate medical assistance do not occur. Recommendations: Follow personal hygiene principles during work. Ensure ventilation of the workspace. Use respiratory protection when spraying. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of paint residues and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in its original unopened packaging for at least until the date indicated on the lid.
