DENAS UNIVERZÁL-MAT top coat for wood, metal, and concrete, 0413 sky blue, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERZÁL MAT is a top water-soluble paint for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, certain types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with added silane, drywall. It meets the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children up to 3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. Coatings have excellent resistance, do not chalk or become brittle due to UV radiation and weather, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. Painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and show long durability in both indoor and outdoor use.

The product is safe under the specified conditions of use and meets hygienic requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets hygienic requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by MZ ČR Decree No. 38/2001 Coll., in the valid version for white bases. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure the compliance of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 layers of DENAS NA KOV-ZÁKLAD anti-corrosion primer or DENAS NA KOVY 2V1, then apply the DENAS UNIVERZÁL top coat in 1–2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be treated with DENAS NA DŘEVO-ZÁKLAD or diluted DENAS UNIVERZÁL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1–2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. For outdoor wood, we recommend protecting the surface with an appropriate impregnation with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a coat of penetrating agent in 1–2 layers and then apply the top coating DENAS UNIVERZÁL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

Under normal use, there are no situations where immediate medical assistance would be necessary. Recommendations: Follow personal hygiene rules while working. Ensure ventilation in the workspace. When spraying, use respiratory protection. If the eyes are affected, rinse with water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of leftover paint and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original unopened packaging until at least the date indicated on the lid.
