DENAS UNIVERSAL SATIN is a water-dilutable satin top paint intended for coatings of building structures and elements made of wood, metal, fresh galvanized sheet metal, galvanized roofing templates, aluminum, selected types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with silane additives and drywall. It complies with the standard for surface finishes of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The created coatings exhibit excellent resistance, do not chalk or become brittle due to weather influences and UV radiation, and withstand the effects of common household cleaning agents. Treated surfaces have extreme mechanical resistance and ensure a long lifespan in both interiors and exteriors.

The product is safe under specified conditions of use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years old (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, item 12, and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as specified by the Ministry of Health Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., in its valid form for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures to ensure compliance of the product being placed on the market with technical documentation and fundamental requirements. Validity of certificates is not guaranteed during tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.
Application procedure:
The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1-2 coats of the anti-corrosive primer DENAS FOR METAL-PRIMER or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 coats. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS FOR WOOD-PRIMER or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in a 1:1 ratio with water, in 1-2 coats depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 coats. For outdoor wood, we recommend protecting to depth with a suitable impregnation agent with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a coating in 1-2 layers of a primer and then the final top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 coats. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70 %.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:
Under normal use, there are no situations that would require immediate medical assistance. Recommendation: When working, observe personal hygiene principles. Ensure ventilation of the workplace. Use respiratory protection when spray applying. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.
Disposal of waste:
Dispose of leftover paint and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its utility properties in the original unopened packaging for at least until the date specified on the lid.
