Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T060 pine, 4.5 l

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is used for protective wood staining paints for soft and hardwood exposed to weather conditions as well as for indoor use (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cabins and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oils, and transparent iron oxides. It penetrates deeply into the wood structure and enhances its natural grain. It provides long-term protection for wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings do not crack, are characterized by color fastness, and are easily renewed. Shade T000 - natural is intended for interior use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cabins and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The substrate wood must be dry, clean, carefully sanded, free from resin residues, and have a moisture content of a maximum of 12% before application. Woods with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be freed from all outflows beforehand, for example by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of substrate preparation depends on the final appearance of the surface treatment and the overall lifespan of the coating system.

The wooden surface outdoors must first be treated with a suitable fungicidal preparation that provides protection against molds, fungi, and wood-destroying insects, such as the product LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033. For indoor spaces, it is recommended to first treat the wood with the colorless LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 wood stain or the natural shade of LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 stain. Penetration with a colorless saturator will ensure even absorbency of the substrate before the application of coatings. Then the surface of the wood must be sanded with fine sandpaper and only then apply the saturating stain. During renovations, it is necessary to remove the original non-adhering layers of wood, for example by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical yield: 13-15 m²/l for one coat depending on substrate absorbency

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on a pre-prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted; it is already at application viscosity. During the work, it is necessary to regularly mix the staining lacquer. For interior use, it is applied in 1 to 2 coats, for outdoor coatings it is advisable to use three coats, but only with colored shades. The colorless stain is intended for indoor applications. Individual coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. For uniform highlighting of the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off any unabsorbed lacquer after 10 to 15 minutes of application using a dry brush or cloth.

For cohesive surfaces, always apply material from the same production batch, which ensures uniform color shade. The type, structure, and any original coatings of the wood affect the final tone; therefore, we recommend conducting a test application before the final application. Complaints about color shades will only be accepted with proof of a test area.

For high gloss, it is possible to topcoat the dried coating made with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or the natural shade of LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. Floors can be topped with LAZUROL OUTDOOR FLOOR VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with stain must be safely disposed of, as they can self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Tinting: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
