Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T060 pine, 4.5 l

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is intended for protective staining coatings for soft and hardwood exposed to weather conditions, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, wooden floor penetration). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates the wood structure and highlights its texture. It provides long-lasting protection of wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Color shade T000 - natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, free from resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be pre-treated to remove all resin exudates, e.g., by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and the overall lifespan of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must first be impregnated with a suitable fungicidal impregnation agent to protect the wood against fungi, molds, and insects, for example, with LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use should first be treated with a clear stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. The clear impregnation will ensure uniform absorption of the substrate before further application of coatings. Subsequently, the surface of the wood must be lightly sanded with fine sandpaper and only then should the impregnation stain be applied. During renovation coatings, the wood should be stripped of old non-adhering layers, for example, by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l per coat depending on substrate absorption

WORK PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on the previously prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted; it is already at application viscosity. During work, the glazing lacquer should be stirred regularly. For indoor use, apply in 1 to 2 layers; for outdoor coatings, it is advisable to use three layers, but only with colored shades. The clear stain is intended for interior coatings. Subsequent coatings can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To uniformly highlight the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off the unabsorbed lacquer after 10 to 15 minutes from application using a dry brush or cloth.

For coherent surfaces, always use material from the same production batch. Using the same production batch ensures the same color shade. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood influence the final color shade, so it is recommended to perform a test coat before the final application. Complaints about color shades will only be accepted if the test area is also subject to complaint.

For high gloss, dried coatings made with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or with the natural shade of LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. Floors can be overcoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKABLE VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with stain must be disposed of safely, as they can self-ignite under certain conditions.

Toning: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
