Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T080 mahogany, 2.5 l

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is designed for protective staining treatments for soft and hardwood exposed to weather conditions, as well as for interior coatings (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cottages, and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration for wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates the wood structure and enhances its texture. It provides long-lasting protection for wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 - natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cottages, and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration for wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, free from any resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be previously free of all resin exudates, e.g. by washing with nitro thinner BALTECH C6000. The quality of the wood's pretreatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and also the overall lifespan of the coating system.

The surface of wood intended for exterior use must first be treated with a suitable fungicidal primer to protect the wood against mold, fungi, and insects, e.g. with LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033. The surface of wood intended for interior use is suitable to be first treated with a clear stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or a natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. The clear primer will ensure the wood absorbs uniformly before further application of the coating materials. Subsequently, the wood surface must be sanded with fine sandpaper and only then apply the soaking stain. For renovation coatings, it is necessary to remove the old non-adhering layer, e.g. by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l per one coat depending on the absorbency of the substrate

WORK PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on the prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted, it is already at application viscosity. During work, the staining lacquer must be regularly stirred. For indoor use, it is applied in 1 to 2 layers, for outdoor coatings it is suitable to use three layers, but only in colored shades. The clear stain is intended for interior applications. Individual coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To uniformly enhance the wood grain, any non-absorbed stain should be wiped off with a dry brush or cloth after 10 to 15 minutes of application.

For cohesive areas, always use material from the same production batch. Using the same production batch guarantees the same color shade. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the final shade of the coating, thus we recommend performing a test coat before final application. Complaints regarding color shades will only be recognized when a claim is made regarding the test area.

For high gloss, the dried coating made with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or a natural shade of the stain LAZUROL GOLD S1037. Floors can be overcoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKABLE VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (cloths, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with stain must be disposed of safely as they may spontaneously ignite under certain conditions.

Tinting: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
