Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T060 pine, 750 ml

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is intended for protective staining coatings for soft and hardwood exposed to weather conditions, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates the structure of the wood and enhances its texture. It provides long-term protection for wood against water and UV radiation. Coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 - natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture of 12%, free of resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be free of all resin exudates, for example, by washing with BALTECH C6000 nitro thinner. The quality of the wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final surface treatment of the wood and the overall durability of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must first be treated with a suitable fungicidal impregnant, which provides protection against mold, fungi, and insects, e.g., using LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use should first be treated with a colorless stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or a natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Penetration with a colorless impregnant will ensure uniform absorption of the substrate before further application of the coating materials. Subsequently, the surface of the wood must be sanded with fine sandpaper, and only then should the impregnating stain be applied. In renovation coatings, the wood must be stripped of old non-adherent layers, for example, by sanding.

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on the prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted; it is already at application viscosity. During work, the staining lacquer must be regularly mixed. For indoor use, it is applied in 1 to 2 layers, for outdoor coatings it is advisable to use three layers, but only with color shades. The colorless stain is intended for indoor coatings. Individual coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To uniformly enhance the wood's grain, it is advisable to wipe off the unabsorbed lacquer after 10 to 15 minutes of application using a dry brush or cloth.

For large surfaces, always use material from the same production batch. Using the same production batch guarantees the same color shade. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the final shade of the coating, so we recommend performing a test coat before final application. Complaints about color shades will only be accepted if reporting from a test area.

For a high gloss finish, the dried coating made with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or with the natural shade of LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. Floors can be overcoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKING VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, shavings, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with stain must be safely disposed of as they can spontaneously ignite under certain circumstances.

Tinting: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
