Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T060 pine, 750 ml

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is intended for protective stain coatings for soft and hard wood exposed to weather conditions, as well as for indoor coatings (garden furniture, wooden shields, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates into the structure of the wood and enhances its texture. It provides long-term protection for wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 - natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden shields, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, and free from resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be cleared of all resin exudates beforehand, for example, by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and also the overall lifespan of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must be first treated with a suitable fungicidal impregnating agent, which protects the wood against mold, fungi, and insects, for example, with LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use is recommended to be treated first with a colorless stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Penetrating with a colorless impregnation ensures uniform absorbency of the substrate before further application of coatings. Subsequently, the wood surface must be sanded with fine sandpaper and only then should the impregnation stain be applied. When renovating coatings, it is necessary to remove old non-adherent layers, for example, by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l for one layer depending on the absorbency of the substrate

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on the previously prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted, it is already in application viscosity. During work, the staining lacquer must be regularly stirred. For indoor use, it is applied in 1 to 2 layers, for outdoor coatings it is advisable to use three layers, but only in colored shades. The colorless stain is intended for indoor applications. Individual layers can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To uniformly highlight the grain of the wood, it is advisable to wipe off the non-absorbed lacquer using a dry brush or cloth after 10 to 15 minutes of application.

For unified areas, always use material from the same production batch. When using the same production batch, the same color shade is guaranteed. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the final shade of the coating, so it is recommended to conduct a test coating before final application. Claims for color shades will only be accepted upon claiming a test area.

For high gloss, the dried coating made with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or the natural shade of the stain LAZUROL GOLD S1037. Floors can be overcoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALK-ON VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, paper, dust, etc.) soaked with the stain must be disposed of safely, as they may self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Tinting: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
