Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T000 natural, 2.5 l

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is intended for protective wood stain coatings for soft and hardwood, exposed to weather conditions, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). Wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates into the structure of the wood and emphasizes its texture. It provides long-term protection of wood against water and UV radiation. Coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 - natural is intended for interior use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, free of resin residues, before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be freed from all resin exudation, e.g., by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final finish of the wood as well as the overall longevity of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must first be impregnated with a suitable fungicidal impregnator that ensures protection against mold, fungi, and insects, e.g., with LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use is best first impregnated with the colorless stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Penetration with a colorless impregnator ensures an even absorption of the base before further application of the coatings. Subsequently, it is necessary to sand the surface of the wood with fine sandpaper and then apply the impregnating stain. During renovation coatings, it is necessary to remove the old non-adhering layer from the wood, for example, by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l per layer depending on the absorbency of the substrate

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

It is applied with a brush after thorough mixing on the prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted, as it is already at the application viscosity. During work, it is necessary to regularly stir the staining varnish. For indoor use, apply in 1 to 2 layers; for outdoor coatings, it is advisable to use three layers, but only in colored shades. The colorless stain is intended for interior coatings. Individual coatings can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To uniformly enhance the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off the unabsorbed varnish after 10 to 15 minutes of application using a dry brush or cloth.

For cohesive areas, always use material from the same production batch. Using the same production batch guarantees the same color shade. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the resulting shade of the coating; therefore, we recommend performing a test application before final application. Complaints regarding color shades will only be accepted upon complaint of the test area.

For a high gloss finish, the dried coat applied with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or the natural shade of LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. Floors can be overcoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKABLE VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with the stain must be disposed of safely, as they may self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Tinting: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
