Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T000 natural, 750 ml

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is designed for protective staining coatings of soft and hardwood exposed to weather conditions, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cabins and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It penetrates deeply into the wood structure and emphasizes its texture. It provides long-lasting protection for wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Color shade T000 -natural  is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cabins and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture content of 12%, free of resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be free of all resin outflows, e.g., by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and the overall durability of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must first be treated with a suitable fungicidal impregnator that provides protection for wood against mold, fungi, and insects, e.g., LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use should first be treated with a transparent stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. The penetration of the transparent impregnator ensures uniform absorbency of the substrate before further application of coatings. Subsequently, the wood surface must be sanded with fine sandpaper and only then should the impregnating stain be applied. For renovation coatings, it is necessary to remove the old, non-adherent layer, e.g., by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l per coat depending on substrate absorbency

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on the pre-prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted, it is already at application viscosity. During work, the staining varnish must be regularly mixed. For internal use, apply in 1 to 2 coats; for outdoor coatings, it is advisable to use three coats, but only in color shades. The transparent stain is intended for interior coatings. Individual coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To uniformly emphasize the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off the excess varnish after 10 to 15 minutes of application with a dry brush or cloth.

Always use material from one production batch for continuous areas. If the same production batch is used, the same color shade is guaranteed. Type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the final shade of the coating; therefore, we recommend performing a trial application before the final application. Complaints regarding color shades will only be accepted if the complaint is based on the test area.

For a high gloss finish, the dried coating made with the LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 stain can be topped with the LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or the natural shade of the LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. Floors can be recoated with the LAZUROL OUTDOOR FOOT TRAFFIC VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked in the stain must be disposed of safely, as they may self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Toning: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
