Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-film wood stain T000 natural, 750 ml

Thin-film wood stain Lazurol Topdecor S1035 is designed for protective staining of both hardwood and softwood in outdoor conditions exposed to the weather as well as in indoor areas (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cottages, and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). This wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It penetrates deep into the wood structure and emphasizes its natural grain. It provides long-lasting protection for wood against the effects of water and UV radiation. The coatings do not crack, are colorfast, and can be easily renewed. Shade T000 -natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cottages, and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture content of 12%, and free from resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be thoroughly cleared of any resin exudates, for example, by washing with BALTECH C6000 nitro thinner. The quality of the wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final surface treatment of the wood and also the overall lifetime of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must first be treated with a suitable fungicidal primer, which provides protection against mold, fungi, and insects, e.g., LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use should preferably be treated first with LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 clear stain or the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Treating with a clear primer ensures uniform absorbency of the substrate before applying coating materials. Subsequently, the surface of the wood must be sanded with fine sandpaper before applying the impregnating stain. For renovation coatings, it is necessary to remove the old non-adhering layer, for example by sanding.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on the pre-prepared substrate. Dilution of the stain is not necessary, as it is already at application viscosity. During work, the staining varnish must be stirred regularly. For interior use, it should be applied in 1 to 2 coats, while for exterior coatings, it is advisable to use three coats, but only in colored shades. Clear stain is intended for indoor applications. Individual coatings can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To uniformly emphasize the wood grain, any excess stain should be wiped off with a dry brush or cloth after 10 to 15 minutes of application.

For larger areas, always use coating material from the same production batch, which guarantees identical color shade. The resulting shade depends on the type of wood, surface condition, and previous coatings, so it is recommended to create a test application before the final application. Any complaint about the color shade will only be recognized based on the assessment of the test area.

To achieve high gloss, the dried coating can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERZÁLNÍ LAK S1002 or the natural shade of LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. For floors, it is possible to apply LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKABLE VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (cloths, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with stain must be safely disposed of, as they may self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Coloring: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
