LAZUROL IMPREGNATING OIL based on linseed oil is intended for the treatment of soft and hardwood exposed to weather conditions as well as for coatings in interiors.

CHARACTERISTICS AND USE:

The oil is intended for the treatment of soft and hardwood exposed to weather conditions as well as for coatings in interiors, for example, garden furniture, wooden elements. It revives the surface of the wood, gives it a silky gloss, and increases resistance to water and dirt.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, free from resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be completely freed of all resin exudates, for example by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood pre-treatment will affect the overall appearance of the final wood surface treatment as well as the overall durability of the coating system.

DILUTION: BALTECH S6006 thinner (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 6 - 10 m²/1 liter for one layer depending on the absorbency of the substrate

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply after thorough mixing on the pre-prepared substrate. For even highlighting of the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off the non-absorbed stain after 10 to 15 minutes of application using a dry brush or cloth. Any second coat is applied after the first coat has dried using the same procedure.

Warning:

The type and surface of the wood affect the resulting shade of the finish. If this product is used for treating wood with a high tannin content (acacia, oak, larch), a test coat should be applied first. Due to the high tannin content, slow drying, subsequent leaching of tannins, and overall affect on the appearance of the coating film may occur. Stackability and re-touching of coated surfaces must be tested under specific conditions (climatic conditions, layer thickness, number of coats, shape of substrate, type of substrate, etc.).

Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with oil must be disposed of safely, as they may self-ignite under certain circumstances.
