Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T021 walnut, 4.5 l

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is designed for protective staining coatings for soft and hardwood, exposed to weather conditions, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, weekend houses and wooden cabins, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates the wood structure and enhances its texture. It provides long-lasting protection for wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Color shade T000 -natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, weekend houses and wooden cabins, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture content of 12%, and free of resin residues before application. Wood with a higher resin content (larch, pine) must be free of all resin exudates in advance, for example by washing with nitro thinner BALTECH C6000. The quality of the wood pre-treatment depends on the overall appearance of the final wood finish and the overall lifespan of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must first be treated with a suitable fungicidal primer that ensures protection against mold, fungi, and insects, e.g., with LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use should preferably be treated with a colorless stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or a natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. The colorless primer will ensure uniform absorption by the substrate before further application of coating materials. Subsequently, it is necessary to sand the wood surface with fine sandpaper and only then apply the penetrating stain. When renewing coatings, it is necessary to remove the old non-adhering layer of paint, for example, by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l for one coat, depending on substrate absorption

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on a pre-prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted, it is already at application viscosity. During work, the staining lacquer must be regularly mixed. For indoor use, apply in 1 to 2 coats; for outdoor coatings, it is advisable to use three coats, but only in colored shades. The colorless stain is intended for indoor coatings. Individual coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To evenly enhance the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off the unabsorbed lacquer 10 to 15 minutes after application using a dry brush or cloth.

Always use material from the same production batch for contiguous areas. Using the same production batch guarantees the same color shade. The type, surface, and previous coat of the wood affect the final color shade; therefore, we recommend performing a test coat before the final application. Complaints about color shades will only be accepted if made on the test area.

For high gloss, it is possible to recoat the dried layer applied with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or the natural shade of the stain LAZUROL GOLD S1037. Floors can be recoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKABLE VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with stain must be safely disposed of, as they can self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Tinting: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
