Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T024 cedar, 4.5 l

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is designed for protective staining finishes for soft and hardwood exposed to weather conditions, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden shields, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oils, and transparent iron oxides. It penetrates deeply into the wood structure and emphasizes its texture. It provides long-term protection for the wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 - natural is intended for interior use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden shields, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture of 12%, and free of resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be removed of all resin excretions beforehand, e.g., by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and the overall durability of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must first be impregnated with an appropriate fungicidal impregnator, which protects the wood against attacks from fungi, molds, and insects, e.g., LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for interiors is preferably first treated with CLEAR LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. The penetration of the clear impregnator ensures that the wood has an even absorption capability of the substrate before applying the coating materials. Subsequently, the surface of the wood must be sanded with fine sandpaper, and only then should the impregnating stain be applied. In renovation applications, it is necessary to remove the old non-adhering layer of the wood, e.g., by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l per coat depending on the substrate's absorbency

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thoroughly mixing on the prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted, as it is already at application viscosity. During work, the stain should be stirred regularly. For indoor use, it is applied in 1 to 2 coats, while for outdoor coatings, it is advisable to use three coats, but only in colored shades. The clear stain is intended for interior applications. Individual coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To evenly enhance the wood grain, it is recommended to wipe off the unabsorbed stain after 10 to 15 minutes of application using a dry brush or cloth.

For cohesive areas, always use material from the same production batch. Using the same production batch guarantees the same color shade. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the final color shade, which is why it is recommended to conduct a test coating before the final application. Claims for color shades will only be considered when claiming the test area.

For a high gloss, the dried coating made with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or with the natural shade of LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. Floor surfaces can be overcoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKABLE VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked in stain must be disposed of safely, as they may self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Toning: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX toning system.
