Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T025 cherry, 750 ml

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is intended for protective staining coatings of soft and hardwood exposed to weather influences, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates the structure of the wood and highlights its texture. It provides long-term protection of the wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Color shade T000 - natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture content of 12%, and free of resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be cleaned of all resin exudates in advance, e.g., by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood pretreatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and also the overall durability of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use should first be impregnated with a suitable fungicidal impregnator that protects the wood against mold, fungi, and insect attacks, e.g., using LAZUROL IMPREGNATING PRIMER S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use is best first impregnated with a transparent stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. The penetration with the colorless impregnator ensures uniform absorbency of the substrate before the application of the coating materials. Then, it is necessary to sand the surface of the wood with fine sandpaper before applying the impregnating stain. In renovation coatings, it is necessary to remove the old non-adhering layer of wood, e.g., by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l for one coat depending on the absorbency of the substrate

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on the pre-prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted; it is already at application viscosity. During work, it is necessary to regularly mix the staining varnish. For indoor use, it is applied in 1 to 2 layers, for outdoor coatings it is recommended to use three layers, but only in colored shades. The colorless stain is intended for indoor coatings. Individual coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To uniformly highlight the wood grain, any unabsorbed varnish should be wiped off with a dry brush or cloth 10 to 15 minutes after application.

For continuous areas, always use material from the same batch. Using the same batch ensures the same color shade. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the final shade of the coating; therefore, we recommend performing a test coat before the final application. Complaints regarding color shades will only be recognized if made for the test area.

For a high gloss, the dried coating made with Lazurol TOPDECOR S1035 can be coated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or the natural shade of Lazurol GOLD S1037 stain. Floors can be recoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKABLE VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, wood shavings, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with stain must be disposed of safely, as they may self-ignite under certain conditions.

Toning: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
