Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T080 mahogany, 750 ml

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is intended for protective staining coatings for soft and hardwood exposed to weather conditions, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates the structure of the wood and emphasizes its texture. It provides long-term wood protection against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 - natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded with a maximum moisture content of 12%, and free of resin residues before application. Wood with increased resin content (larch, pine) must be pre-treated to remove all resin exudates, for example, by washing with BALTECH C6000 nitro solvent. The quality of wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and also the overall lifespan of the coating system.

The wood surface intended for outdoor use must first be treated with an appropriate fungicidal impregnator that protects the wood against mold, fungi, and insects, e.g., with LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033. The interior wood surface should preferably be treated with a colorless stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. The penetration of the colorless impregnator ensures a uniform absorption of the substrate by the wood before the application of the coatings. Subsequently, it is necessary to sand the wood surface with fine sandpaper and then apply the impregnating stain. In case of renovation coatings, old non-adherent layers must be removed from the wood, e.g., by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical yield: 13-15 m²/l per coat depending on the absorbency of the substrate

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thoroughly mixing onto the prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted; it is already in the application viscosity. During work, it is necessary to regularly mix the staining lacquer. For indoor use, apply in 1 to 2 coats; for outdoor coatings, it is advisable to use three coats, but only in colored shades. The colorless stain is intended for indoor applications. Individual coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. For uniform enhancement of the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off the non-absorbed lacquer after 10 to 15 minutes from application using a dry brush or cloth.

For uniform areas, always use material from the same production batch. Using the same production batch ensures the same color shade. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the final shade of the coating; therefore, it is recommended to perform a test coat before final application. Complaints regarding color shades will only be acknowledged in case of complaints about the test area.

For high gloss, it is possible to topcoat the dried coating made with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or with the natural shade of the stain LAZUROL GOLD S1037. Floors can be repainted with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKABLE VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, paper, dust, etc.) soaked with the stain must be disposed of safely, as they can self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Toning: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX toning system.
