Het Hetmal Plus Paint, 25 kg

Interior dispersion white covering paint Het Hetmal Plus with high covering power - recommended for commercial and living spaces, offices, schools, corridors, industrial applications. Het Hetmal Plus is for interior coatings of walls and ceilings, lime and lime-cement plasters, concrete panels and monoliths, paper wallpapers specifically designed for it, etc. The paint is suitable for repainting old load-bearing layers of interior paints. The product meets the requirements for coatings on surfaces that may come into indirect or direct accidental contact with food. The coating creates a matte, water vapor permeable surface that is resistant to standard humidity in rooms and resistant to abrasion with dry materials. The painted surface must not be in constant contact with water and must not be exposed to condensing moisture. The dried coating can briefly withstand temperatures around 70 °C. Het Hetmal Plus paint is suitable for painting living and commercial spaces, corridors, offices, schools, industrial spaces, etc. Increased whiteness of 93% (MgO), high coverage, matte appearance, resistance to abrasion when dry, water vapor permeability, easy tinting.

Shade:
white, tinting can be done using HETCOLOR tinting colors (max. ratio of 1:5 parts paint)

Coverage:
8 - 12 m²/kg in one layer depending on the absorbency and structure of the substrate and the thickness of the applied layer.

Drying time:
at least 4 hours at 20 °C and 60% relative humidity of air.

Application:
with a brush, paint rollers (perlon, polyacrylic, polyamide), small areas with a brush, large surface application by AIRLESS spraying. When spraying, it is advisable to conduct tests on the specific equipment beforehand. The temperature of the material, the environment, and the substrate must be maintained between +5 and +30 °C during application and for 24 hours after application.

Substrate:
dry, cohesive, free of dirt and biological infestations (mold, algae), unsalted, non-greasy, free of formwork oils, chemically stable, matured (pH ≤8.5; control can be done with a pH tester).

Example of application procedure:

1. before application, the paint must always be properly mixed. When mixing, ensure that air does not penetrate the material and foam is not created.
2. the primer coat is applied with paint diluted with up to 0.5 liters of water per 1 kg of paint. For smooth substrates, a penetrating agent UP-GRUND is used for the primer coat, very absorbent substrates are treated with agents A-GRUND or AT-GRUND. If the substrate is cohesive, non-dusting, and has low absorbency from a previous coating, a primer coat is not necessary. Layers
   of old coatings with insufficient adhesion must be scraped off beforehand. Stains from water leaks, rust, soot, aniline dyes, or nicotine must initially be covered with an isolating coating I-GRUND or, in case of greater intensity, with HETLINE IZOL paint.
3. after the primer coat has dried, apply 1 to 2, and for new or significantly different substrate shades, more as needed, top coats of paint diluted with a maximum of 0.3 liters of water per 1 kg of paint. WARNING: excessive dilution of the paint reduces covering power and may worsen the paint’s properties.
4. protect all tools against drying during work breaks and wash them with water after use. Immediately wash any soiled areas with water, as dried paint is difficult to remove. Ensure thorough ventilation during application and drying.
