Polykar 1K filler single-component acrylic spray, gray, 500 ml

Polykar 1K filler is a single-component acrylic filler for automotive repair and industry. It is used as a primer and filling putty. It fills hairline scratches and minor paint damage, has high filling properties, very good flow, fast drying, and curing. After sanding with fine sandpaper, an ideal substrate for applying top coats is achieved. The product must not be applied to areas that come into direct contact with food and drinking water.

This single-component acrylic filler has very good filling properties and excellent adhesion, cures in air, is weather and chemical resistant, sands well, and is easy to use. Drying time is approximately 45 minutes.

Application:
The ideal temperature for application is 20 to 25 °C, ideal conditions are away from direct sunlight and in still air. The surrounding surface must be covered with paper or masking tape before application to prevent contamination.

• The surface must be dry, free of dust, grease, and corrosion residue before application. The surface must be roughened with P240 sandpaper.
• Before use, the container must be shaken vigorously for at least 2 minutes.
• Apply in thin layers from a distance of approximately 25 cm with cross strokes – first horizontally, then vertically. Wait 2-3 minutes between applications of individual layers.
• Avoid inhaling solvent vapors and spray mist. When applying indoors, ensure adequate ventilation.

Drying:
Two layers of the product applied in cross strokes are dry to the touch at 20 °C in 5 – 10 minutes, handleable in 30 – 40 minutes, and fully cured in 24 hours. There are no restrictions on the interval for applying additional layers.

Sanding:
PolyKar FILLER 1K can be sanded after 60 minutes. Use fine sandpaper P400–P600 for sanding. Before applying topcoats, remove sanding residues.

Coverage:

• 12 ml for small spots
• 150 ml is sufficient to cover an area of approximately 0.5 m²
• 500 ml is sufficient to cover an area of approximately 1.5 to 2.0 m²

• P210: Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking.

• P260: Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapors/aerosols.
• P271: Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
• P302+P352: IN CASE OF SKIN CONTACT: Wash with plenty of water and soap
• P304+P340: IF INHALED: Move person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing.
• P305+P351+P338: IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
• P410+P412: Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 °C/122 °F.
• P501: Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations.
