Polykar 1K one-component acrylic filler spray, gray, 500 ml

The one-component acrylic filler for automotive repair and industry Polykar 1K serves as a primer and leveling compound. It reliably fills fine scratches and minor paint defects, offers high filling capacity, excellent flow, and fast drying. After sanding with fine sandpaper, it creates an optimal surface for applying top layers of paint. The product must not be applied to areas that come into direct contact with food and drinking water.

The one-component acrylic filler with excellent adhesion and outstanding filling properties cures through exposure to air. It is resistant to chemical and weather effects, easy to sand, and straightforward to apply. Drying time is approximately 45 minutes.

Application:
The ideal temperature for application is 20 to 25 °C, ideal conditions away from direct sunlight and in calm weather. The surrounding surface must be covered with paper or masking tape before application to prevent contamination.

• The surface must be dry, free of dust, grease, and rust residues before application. The surface must be roughened with P240 sandpaper.
• Before use, the can must be shaken vigorously for at least 2 minutes.
• Apply in thin layers from a distance of approximately 25 cm with cross strokes – first horizontally, then vertically. Between applications of individual layers, wait 2-3 minutes.
• Avoid inhaling vapors from thinners and aerosol mist. When used indoors, proper ventilation must be ensured.

Drying:
At 20 °C, two cross-applied layers are dust dry within 5 – 10 minutes, ready for handling in 30 – 40 minutes, and completely dry in 24 hours. The time range for applying additional layers is not limited.

Sanding:
PolyKar FILLER 1K can be sanded after 60 minutes. Fine sandpaper P400–P600 is used for sanding. Residues from sanding must be cleaned before applying topcoats.

Yield:

• 12 ml for small areas
• A volume of 150 ml is sufficient for applying one layer over an area of approximately 0.5 m²
• A volume of 500 ml is sufficient for applying one layer over an area of approximately 1.5 to 2.0 m²

• P305+P351+P338: IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
• P410+P412: Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 °C/122 °F.
• P501: Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations.
