Polykar 1K one-component acrylic filler spray, gray, 500 ml

The one-component acrylic filler for automotive repair and industry Polykar 1K serves as a primer and leveling compound. It reliably fills fine scratches and minor defects in paint, offers high filling capacity, excellent flow, and quick drying. After sanding with fine sandpaper, it creates an optimal base for the application of topcoats. The product must not be applied to areas that come into direct contact with food and drinking water.

The one-component acrylic filler with excellent adhesion and great filling properties cures by exposure to air. It is characterized by resistance to chemical and weather influences, easy sandability, and uncomplicated application. Drying time is approximately 45 minutes.

Application:
The ideal temperature for application is 20 to 25 °C, with ideal conditions away from direct sunlight and in calm weather. The surrounding surface must be covered with paper or masking tape before application to avoid contamination.

• The surface must be dry, free from dust, grease, and corrosion residues before application. The surface must be roughened with P240 sandpaper.
• Before use, the container must be shaken vigorously for at least 2 minutes.
• Apply in thin layers from a distance of about 25 cm using cross strokes – first horizontally, then vertically. Allow 2-3 minutes between applying individual layers.
• Avoid inhaling solvent vapors and aerosol mist. When used indoors, ensure proper ventilation.

Drying:
At 20 °C, two cross-applied layers are dry to the touch within 5 – 10 minutes, suitable for handling in 30 – 40 minutes, and completely dry after 24 hours. There is no limit for applying additional layers.

Sanding:
PolyKar FILLER 1K can be sanded after 60 minutes. For sanding, use fine sandpaper P400–P600. Before applying topcoats, it is necessary to clean off any sanding residues.

Coverage:

• 12 ml for small areas
• A volume of 150 ml is sufficient to apply one layer over an area of approximately 0.5 m²
• A volume of 500 ml is sufficient to apply one layer over an area of approximately 1.5 to 2.0 m²

• P305+P351+P338: IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contactlenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
• P410+P412: Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 °C/122 °F.
• P501: Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations.
