Polykar UBS Underbody Coating, Black, 1 l

Polykar UBS represents underbody coating designed to protect automotive undercarriages and sills. This re-coatable product based on synthetic resins is used for protecting the sills and undercarriages of cars. It creates a solid elastic layer that protects against corrosion, the abrasive effect of spreading materials, the action of water, gasoline, salt, and oils. It features protective and damping properties.

The product must not be applied to areas that come into direct contact with food and drinking water. VOC CONTENT = 560 g/l. The product complies with the requirements of the European Union Directive (2004/42/EC), which establishes a limit for volatile substance content of 840 g/l for products in this category (B/e).

Application:
The surface must be sanded, clean and dry, free of grease and rust before applying the product. Areas that are not to be treated with the product must be covered. Before use, the material in the container must be properly shaken! It is applied using a spray gun. We recommend using a 4 mm nozzle, with a pressure of 3-5 bar. Apply 2 to 3 layers, waiting 5 minutes between each layer of spray.

Drying:
At a temperature of 20 °C and a layer thickness of 700 μm, the time required to dry is 2-3 hours.

Yield:
3.5 m² area at 100 μm.

Topcoat:
The product can be re-coated with a regular coating system after 2-3 hours from the application of the final layer.

Cleaning tools:
For immediate cleaning of tools, we recommend using thinner C6000.

Storage:
During storage and transport, it is necessary to maintain a temperature range of +5 to +25 °C and prevent direct sunlight and heat exposure. Store in a cool and dry place. The shelf life for maintaining utility properties and quality is 24 months.

• P271: Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
• P280: Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.
• P301+P330+P331: IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. DO NOT induce vomiting.
• P304+P340: IF INHALED: Move person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing.
• P305+P351+P338: IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
• P403+P235: Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep cool.
• P410+P412: Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 °C/122 °F.
• P501: Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations.
