Polykar UBS underbody spray, black, 1 l

Polykar UBS, underbody spray - for the protection of vehicle underbodies and sills. A repaintable agent for the protection of vehicle underbodies and sills made from synthetic resins. It forms a strong elastic layer that protects against the abrasive effects of de-icing materials, corrosion, gasoline, water, oils, and salt. It has protective and damping properties.

The product must not be applied to areas that come into direct contact with food and drinking water. VOC CONTENT = 560 g/l. This product meets the requirements of the European Union Directive (2004/42/EC), which sets a limit for volatile substances content at 840 g/l for products in this category (B/e).

Application:
The surface must be sanded, clean, and dry, free from grease and rust before applying the product. Areas that should not be treated with the substance must be covered. Before use, the material in the container must be shaken well! Apply with a spray gun. A 4 mm nozzle and a pressure of 3-5 bar are recommended. Apply 2 to 3 coats, waiting 5 minutes between each spray layer.

Drying:
The required drying time at 20 °C and a coat thickness of 700 μm is 2-3 hours.

Coverage:
3.5 m² area at 100 μm.

Top coat:
After 2-3 hours from the application of the last layer, the product can be repainted with a standard painting system.

Cleaning tools:
For immediate cleaning of tools, we recommend using thinner C6000.

Storage:
When storing and transporting, keep the temperature between +5 and +25 °C and avoid direct heat and sunlight. Store in a dry and cool environment. The shelf life for quality maintenance and usability is 24 months.
