Polykar 2K PUR anti-corrosive two-component filler, white, 1 kg

Two-component polyurethane anti-corrosive filler for automotive repair and industry. In the coating system, it is intended to create a bonding layer between primary coatings or filled areas and the top coat. It has excellent flow, cures quickly even in thicker layers, and sands extremely well. It is an ideal substrate for topcoats on metal products, wood, laminate, or concrete, ensuring a high-quality appearance of painted objects. It finds wide applications in coating systems for surface treatment of the ČD vehicle fleet, urban transport, and various engineering products. The filler should not be applied to areas that come into direct contact with food and drinking water.

Application:
After filling the surface, sand it with P220-240 sandpaper and thoroughly degrease. The filler is applied separately in 2 - 3 layers (60-80 µm). Each layer is allowed to vent for about 5 - 10 minutes. Filler system – dilute with PolyKar POLYURETHANE THINNER max. 10%.

• Working viscosity: 4/20 °C approximately 22 s.
• Spray gun nozzle: Ø 1.5 - 1.8 mm.
• Air pressure: 0.3 - 0.4 MPa.

Curing:
The filler is cured with the PolyKar HARDENER 2K PUR in a ratio of: - 4 volume parts of filler : 1 volume part of hardener, - 6 weight parts of filler : 1 weight part of hardener. The mixture must be thoroughly mixed and filtered.

Workability:
The filler must be processed within 30 minutes after mixing with the hardener at a temperature of 23°C and a curing ratio of 4:1.

Sanding:
The filler is sandable at 23°C after about 2 hours, at 60 °C after 40 minutes. Dry sanding is carried out with P400-800 sandpaper. Wet sanding is performed with P600-1000 sandpaper.

Yield:
approximately 5.9 m²/1.0 kg at a layer thickness of 50 µm.

Topcoats:
All common coating systems can be used on the filler. The filler withstands standard curing temperatures of 80 - 110 °C.

Cleaning tools:
For immediate cleaning, we recommend using PolyKar POLYURETHANE THINNER or C6000.

• P305+P351+P338: IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
• P308+P313: IF exposed or concerned: Get medical advice/attention.
• P370+P378: In case of fire: Use a fire extinguisher/sand/carbon dioxide as per safety data sheet for extinguishing.
• P405: Store locked up.
• P501: Dispose of contents/container to the instructions on the product.
