DENAS UNIVERSAL-GLOSS top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0250 rosewood, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL is a top water-based paint for coatings of building elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, freshly galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, some types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, drywall. It meets the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to exposure to UV radiation and weather conditions, and are resistant to cleaning agents used in households. Painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and exhibit long durability in both interior and exterior.

The product is safe under the specified use conditions and meets the hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years old (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets the hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by MZČR Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., in the valid wording for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure that the product sold on the market is compliant with technical documentation and fundamental requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certifications for tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, non-adherent layers of older coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1-2 layers of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION PRIMER or DENAS METAL 2IN1, then apply the DENAS UNIVERSAL top coat in 1-2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS WOOD PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1-2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. For exterior wood, we recommend protecting it to a depth with a suitable impregnant with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with 1-2 layers of a penetrating agent and subsequently with the DENAS UNIVERSAL top coat in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the paint is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

Under normal use, there are no situations that would require immediate medical attention. Recommendations: Follow personal hygiene rules while working. Ensure adequate ventilation in the workplace. When spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water.

Disposal of waste:

Dispose of leftover paint and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in its original unopened packaging until at least the date indicated on the lid/cap.
