Water-dilutable paint for concrete and other absorbent materials with moderate mechanical stress. The coating is flexible with very good adhesion to the substrate. It is water-resistant and vapor-permeable. A product with an excellent quality-to-price ratio.

Use:
Coatings for concrete, concrete surfaces, particularly concrete floors, vertical walls, and other absorbent materials subjected to moderate mechanical stress indoors. Also for wood, chipboards, and fiberboards. Applying it on non-absorbent and treated concretes, ceramic tiles, and concrete modified with leveling compounds reduces adhesion and mechanical resistance of the coating film. It is not recommended to use in permanently damp areas and in places where floors need to be cleaned with abrasive substances and machine washing. Not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with food, animal feed, drinking water, or for coatings on children's furniture, toys.

Substrate preparation and application method:
Concrete must be matured (min. 28 days), dry (max. 15% moisture), absorbent (not treated), cohesive with a minimum tensile adhesion of 1.5 MPa, smooth without greasy stains from oils, etc. It must be free of all mechanical impurities and old coatings. Absorbent substrates must be primed with a penetrative coating. For this purpose, EKOBAN® diluted with water in a ratio of approximately 1:5 to 1:10 can be used. Add water gradually and mix during dilution. In case of higher absorbency of the substrate, the penetrative coating can be repeated until the preparation is absorbed. Before use, the coating material must be thoroughly mixed and diluted with water if necessary (max. 5%). It is applied with a brush, roller, or spraying in two or more layers at a temperature of the substrate and surroundings between +10 and +25°C, always after the previous layer has dried. The temperature conditions must be maintained throughout the drying time of the coating! The drying speed depends on the applied thickness, temperature, humidity, and air circulation. The coated surface is walkable after approximately 8 hours. After 24 hours, the floor can be gradually subjected to mechanical load. The final properties of the coating are achieved after 10 days of curing. It is recommended to apply the final layer with paint from the same production batch to eliminate possible color differences. To improve the washability of the floor and increase mechanical resistance, we recommend covering the last layer with Ekoban floor varnish.

Warning:
The first primer coat should be applied with Ekoban diluted 1:5 – 1:15 depending on the absorbency of the substrate. Dilution should be done gradually while constantly mixing.

Coverage:
The coverage for one layer is 5.5 - 7 m² per 1 kg of coating material and is influenced by the quality of the substrate and the application technique.
