Detecha Ekoban Forte Plus paint for wood and concrete, RAL 7045 dark grey, 5 kg

Water-dilutable paint intended for concrete and other absorbent substrates exposed to higher mechanical stresses. It creates a flexible coating with excellent adhesion to the surface. Treated areas exhibit very good mechanical resistance, withstand water, saline solutions, oils, and also short-term exposure to diesel fuel. The coating film is vapor-permeable and resists weather conditions and UV radiation. The mentioned properties are also retained when applied to other porous materials, such as wood, eternit, etc.

Application:
For indoor and outdoor use. Concrete, concrete floors (garages, workshops, warehouses, stairs, balconies, terraces), masonry. Wood, particle boards and fiberboards, and other absorbent materials. It is not recommended for use in permanently damp areas and in places where floors must be cleaned with abrasive agents and machine washing.

Coverage:
Coverage for one layer is 6 - 7.5 m² from 1 kg of paint, depending on the quality of the substrate and the chosen method of application.

Preparation of the substrate and application method:
The concrete must be mature (min. 28 days), dry (max. 15% moisture), absorbent (non-calendered), cohesive with a minimum tensile strength of 1.5 MPa, smooth without oily stains, etc. It must be free of all mechanical impurities and old coatings. Absorbent substrates must be treated with a primer. For this purpose, EKOBAN® FORTE PLUS diluted with water in a ratio of 1:5 to 1:10 can be used. Add water gradually and mix during dilution. If the substrate is more absorbent, it is necessary to repeat the primer coat until the product is absorbed. Before use, the paint must be thoroughly mixed and diluted with water if necessary (max. 5%). It is applied with a brush, roller, or spray in two or more layers at substrate and ambient temperatures of +10 to +25 °C, always after the previous layer has dried. Temperature conditions must be maintained throughout the drying period of the coating! The drying speed depends on the applied thickness, temperature, humidity, and air circulation. The coated surface is walkable after approximately 8 hours. After 24 hours, the floor can be gradually subjected to mechanical loads. The final properties of the coating are achieved after 14 days of curing. We recommend applying the final layer with paint from one production batch to eliminate possible shade differences.

Note:
The first primer coat should be applied with Ekoban Forte Plus diluted 1:5 – 1:10 depending on the absorbency of the substrate. Dilution should be done gradually with constant mixing.
