Socrates Radiator top coat for radiators, 1000 white, 0.7 kg

Top coat for radiators and heating medium distribution, water-dilutable. For painting radiators and hot water distribution with thermal resistance up to +100 °C. Heating paint is perfectly colorfast – brilliant white. The surface of the coating is smooth with a pleasant gloss above 65%. Heating paint is extremely network-forming with adhesion promoters to metal substrates. The surface of the paint is hard but flexible, with excellent abrasion resistance. Old non-peeling coatings only need to be degreased, cleaned, lightly sanded, and top-coated with this paint. The paint is not suitable for direct contact with food and drinking water!

Properties of Socrates Radiator top coat for radiators:

• Hard yet flexible coatings,

• the radiator does not corrode when drying wet items (cloths, towels),
• does not yellow due to light – high resistance to UV radiation,
• high resistance to peeling and cracking,
• contains inhibitors of flash corrosion and water-repelling substances,

• reasonably thixotropic with very good stability,
• pigmentation ensures chalky whiteness throughout the lifespan of the coating,
• no tackiness, no odor, chemically neutral.

Minimum application temperature 10 °C.

Coverage:

6 to 8 m²/kg

Drying:

Ready for handling in 2 hours. Recoatability with drying from 2 hours (can dry to +35 °C), without drying from 4-6 hours. Recommended application temperature: +18 °C to +23 °C.
