Bakrylex Universal Matt is a water-based, universal opaque matte enamel for interior and exterior coatings of wood, chipboard, masonry, paper, metal, etc. It provides excellent coverage and resists weather conditions. For outdoor applications, renewal is expected every 3-5 years. The product meets regulatory requirements for use on toys. It exhibits resistance to wet abrasion - measured according to ČSN EN ISO 11998 - class 1. (classification according to EN 13300). The paint is not suitable for objects in permanently damp environments.

Instructions for use:

Absorbent substrates must be primed with a suitable primer such as REMAL, BARLET or SOICRAT. Prime until the surface absorbs. It is advisable to apply a base coat of BAKRYLEX PRIMER on wood. Metals must be derusted, degreased, and coated with a suitable anti-corrosive primer.

Before use, stir the contents thoroughly. You can thin the paint with a small amount of clean water. Apply it with a brush, spray, or roller in 2-3 coats at a temperature of 10-25 °C. The time interval between coats is at least 4 hours.

Coverage:

Approximate: 6 to 8 m² per 1 kg of paint (7 to 10 m² per 1 l) for a single coat.

Shades:

Available as a matte or glossy paint in shades according to special color samples, or it can be tinted in the desired shades using the TELURMIX tinting system at our BARVY A LAKY DROGERIE retail stores.

Handling:

Follow basic hygiene rules while working. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with food, animal feed, and drinking water. Keep out of reach of children. If you feel unwell, seek medical attention. The product is treated with a biocide. Contains a reactive mixture: 5-chlor-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 220-239-6] (3:1). May cause an allergic
reaction.

Storage stability:

The product retains its useful properties for 5 years from the date of manufacture, in its original unopened packaging. Store in a dry place at a temperature of 5 to 25 °C.

Disposal of packaging and waste:

Dispose of used, properly emptied packaging at a collection point for packaging waste. Dispose of containers with residues of the product at a location designated by the municipality for hazardous waste disposal or hand them over to a person authorized to handle hazardous waste. Also, refer to the safety data sheet of the product.
