Bakrylex Universal Matt is a water-based, universal opaque matte enamel for indoor and outdoor coatings of wood, chipboard, masonry, paper, metal, etc. It provides excellent coverage and withstands weather effects. For outdoor applications, renewal is expected after 3–5 years. The product meets the requirements of regulations for use on toy coatings. It exhibits wet abrasion resistance - measured according to ČSN EN ISO 11998 - class 1. (classification according to EN 13300). The paint is not suitable for objects in permanently humid environments.

Instructions for use:

Absorbent substrates must be primed with a suitable penetrating agent REMAL, BARLET or SOICRAT beforehand. Penetrate until the surface absorbs. It is advisable to pre-treat wood with BAKRYLEX PRIMER. Metals need to be rusted, degreased, and treated with a suitable basic anti-corrosive coating.

Before use, thoroughly mix the contents. You can thin the paint with a small amount of clean water. It is applied with a brush, spray, or roller in 2–3 coats at a temperature of 10–25 °C. The time interval between individual coats is a minimum of 4 hours.

Coverage:

Approximate: 6 to 8 m² per 1 kg of paint (7 to 10 m² per 1 l) for one coat.

Shades:

It is produced as matte or glossy paint in shades according to special color samples, or it is tinted to the desired shades in the TELURMIX tinting system at our corporate stores BARVY A LAKY DROGERIE.

Handling:

When working, follow basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with foodstuffs, animal feed, and drinking water. Keep out of reach of children. If you feel unwell, seek medical attention. The product is treated with a biocide. Contains a reaction mixture: 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 220-239-6] (3:1). It may cause an allergic
reaction.

Storage stability:

The product retains its usability 5 years from the date of production, in the original unopened packaging. Store in a dry place at a temperature of 5 to 25 °C.

Disposal of packaging and waste:

Dispose of used, properly emptied packaging at a collection point for packaging waste. Dispose of containers with product residues at the site designated by the municipality for hazardous waste or hand it over to a person authorized to handle hazardous waste.
