Bakrylex V1302 Universal Matte Dispersion Varnish for Wood, Colorless, 600 g

BAKRYLEX UNIVERSAL VARNISH is a water-dilutable acrylic colorless varnish designed for interior varnishing of hard and soft wood, furniture parts, wooden and cork coverings, plywood etc. The varnish can also be used as a top coat on dispersion paints. It meets the requirements of ČSN EN 71-3, Part 3: Safety of toys. Migration of certain elements.

Instructions for use:

The dry wooden surface, well-sanded with sandpaper P80–150 and free from dust, should be impregnated with varnish diluted with water in a ratio of 1:1 or with a suitable acrylic primer, e.g. REMAL UNIVERSAL PRIMER. After 2 hours of drying of the primer, lightly sand the surface with sandpaper P220–400 and remove dust. Before use, thoroughly mix the varnish and apply 2–3 layers of undiluted varnish with a brush, roller, or spray at intervals of approximately 4 hours. The finished coat dries to the touch in 4 hours and reaches final hardness after 48 hours. The temperature of the environment and materials during application must not drop below 10 °C.

Coverage:

8 - 12 m² /kg for one layer.

Drying:

Dust-dry in up to 4 hours. The varnish achieves the desired properties within 48 hours.

Handling:

When working, adhere to basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for coatings coming into direct contact with food, feed, and drinking water. Keep out of reach of children. If you feel unwell, seek medical attention. The product is treated with a biocide. It contains a reactive mixture: 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [EC number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [EC number 220-239-6] (3:1). May cause an allergic
reaction.

Storage stability:

The product retains its functional properties for 5 years from the date of manufacture in the original unopened container. Store in a dry place at a temperature of 5 to 25 °C.

Disposal of packaging and waste:

Dispose of used, properly emptied packaging at a collection point for packaging waste. Dispose of packaging with residual product at a location designated by the municipality for the disposal of hazardous waste or hand it over to a person authorized to handle hazardous waste.
