Synthetic anti-corrosive paint for base and top coatings of metals serves for the final finishing of metal surfaces and provides reliable protection against corrosion. It offers significant barrier resistance to constant exposure to weather and sunlight. To ensure long-term protection (up to 8 years), it is sufficient to apply 2 - 3 layers of Superkov directly, without the need for a primer. SUPERKOV works as both a base and a covering anti-corrosive coating for metals, sheet roofs, steel structures, gutter systems, and other components.

Properties of metal paint:

• Alkyd-based coating material with an increased solid content.
• Combines a reliable anti-corrosive base with a top protective layer providing a strong barrier effect.
• The composition includes an effective corrosion inhibitor and a UV absorber preventing film degradation caused by weather influences.

Usage:
Base and top coatings for sheet roofing, steel structures, gutters, fences, and all metal objects exposed to constant weather influences (including sunlight) without prior treatment with a primer. We recommend painting freshly galvanized sheet metal after a period of 1 year from its exposure to weather influences or after prior surface treatment with an appropriate agent.

Coverage:
At a standard thickness of dry film of 40 – 50 µm (which corresponds to 75 - 100 µm wet), the theoretical coverage is 7 – 9 m² from 1 kg of paint for one coat. Actual consumption depends on the condition of the surface and the chosen application method. The longest lifespan of the coating is achieved by following the correct procedure and creating a dry film of at least 150 μm thickness.

Preparation of the substrate and method of application:
The surfaces to be painted must be dry, degreased, and free of dirt, rust, and old non-adhering coatings. Before use, the contents of the can must be thoroughly mixed, and if necessary, slightly diluted to the required consistency. The coating is applied with a brush, roller, or by spraying in two to three layers at a temperature of +5 to +25 °C. Do not work in direct bright sunlight! The interval between individual coats is at least 6 hours at a temperature of 20 °C. The coating dries to the touch within 4 hours and fully cures within 24 hours. When painting continuous larger areas, we recommend using products from the same production batch or mixing the contents of individual containers to homogenize the color. Surfaces that are heavily corroded or difficult to clean should be pre-treated with a fastening polyurethane product Fest primer. This will enhance the quality and lifespan of the entire coating system.
