Detecha Superkov Satin 2v1 base and top coat for metal is a newly developed coating with a silky gloss appearance in an attractive modern color range. It is a base and top coat in one that provides an excellent anti-corrosion protection in addition to an attractive appearance. It reliably protects against all weather influences including UV radiation. It is highly flexible, handling significant temperature fluctuations. For long-term protection (up to 8 years), 2 coats of Superkov Satin are sufficient without prior priming.

Application of metal paint:

Outdoor and indoor coatings for metals. Sheet metal roofing, gates, gutters, window sills, frames, fencing, steel constructions, pipes, and other metal materials. We recommend allowing galvanized sheet metal to oxidize naturally. We recommend treating corroded substrates with Fest Primer beforehand.

• Substrate: steel, cast iron, galvanized steel, titanium-zinc, aluminum, copper. We recommend painting fresh galvanized sheet metal after 1 year of exposure to weather.
• Environment: interior, exterior with higher corrosion stress (wet areas, industrial spaces)
• Examples: sheet metal roofing, gates, gutters, window sills, frames, fencing, steel constructions, pipes, etc.

Coverage:
Theoretical coverage for one coat is 9 - 11 m² per 1 kg of coating at the usual dry film thickness of 40 - 50 µm (corresponding wet thickness is 75 - 95 µm). Actual coverage depends on the quality of the substrate and the method of application. Maximum durability can be achieved with proper application and a dry film thickness of 100 - 150 µm.

Surface preparation and method of application:
The surfaces to be painted must be dry, de-greased, free from dirt, rust, and old non-adhering coatings. We recommend cleaning with a high-pressure water jet with a rotary nozzle. Before use, the contents of the can must be thoroughly mixed, and if necessary diluted (5-10% thinner) to the desired consistency. To ensure compatibility of the new coating with any old coating, it is advisable to perform a test coat on a small area. The coating is applied with a brush, roller, or spraying in 2 - 3 layers at temperatures of +5 to +25 °C. The interval between coats is at least 18 hours at 20 °C. For spraying application, it is also possible to proceed moist-on-moist after partially drying solvents from the previous coat (approximately after 30 minutes). The coating dries to the touch in up to 6 hours and fully cures in 48 hours. Lower temperatures or increased humidity may prolong drying time. Do not work in direct blazing sunlight! When painting continuous larger surfaces, we recommend using products from the same production batch, or mixing the contents of individual containers in a larger vessel to homogenize the color. Surfaces difficult to clean of corrosion products should be treated beforehand with a fastening polyurethane product Fest Primer. This will improve the quality and longevity of the entire coating system.
