Basic and top anti-corrosive synthetic paint for metal designed for the surface treatment of metal materials and their effective protection against corrosion. It creates a high barrier effect against the permanent impact of weather conditions and sunlight. For long-term protection (up to 8 years), 2 - 3 layers of Superkov are sufficient without prior priming. SUPERKOV is a basic and top anti-corrosive coating for metal, sheet roofing, steel structures, gutters, etc.

Properties of metal paint:

• Alkyd coating material with a higher solid content.
• Acts as a quality anti-corrosive primer and also as a top protective coat with a high barrier effect.
• Contains an effective corrosion inhibitor including a UV rays absorber, which acts against the degradation of the coating due to weather influences.
• SUPERKOV does not require any basic or subsequent top coats

Usage:
Basic and top coatings for sheet roofing, steel structures, gutters, fences, and all metal objects exposed to permanent weather conditions (including sunlight) without prior treatment with a primer. We recommend painting freshly galvanized sheet metal after 1 year of exposure to weather conditions or after pre-treating the surface with an appropriate agent.

Coverage:
Theoretical coverage per layer is 7 – 9 m² from 1 kg of coating material at a typical film thickness of 40 – 50 µm (the corresponding wet thickness is 75 - 100 µm). Actual coverage depends on the quality of the substrate and the application method. Maximum durability can be achieved with proper application and a minimum thickness of 150 μm of dry coating.

Substrate preparation and application method:
The surfaces to be painted must be dry, degreased, and free of dirt, rust, and old non-adhering coatings. Before use, the contents of the can must be thoroughly mixed and possibly slightly diluted to the required consistency. The coating is applied with a brush, roller, or spray in two to three layers at a temperature of +5 to +25 °C. Do not work in direct intense sunlight! The interval between individual coats is a minimum of 6 hours at a temperature of 20 °C. The coating dries to the touch within 4 hours and cures within 24 hours. When painting continuous larger areas, we recommend using products from the same production batch, or mixing the contents of individual packages to color homogenize. Surfaces that are heavily corroded or difficult to clean should be pre-treated with the Fest primer, a anchoring polyurethane product. This increases the quality and lifespan of the entire coating system.
