DENAS UNIVERSAL-SATIN top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0610 cream, 0.7 kg

DENAS UNIVERSAL SATIN is a semi-matt water-based top coat for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, construction materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, certain types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with a silane additive, drywall. It meets the standard for surface finishes of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk or become brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and weather, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. The painted surfaces are extremely mechanically durable and show long lasting performance in both interior and exterior.

The product is safe under the specified conditions of use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., in force for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure the compliance of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, non-adhesive layers of older coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 layers of anti-corrosive primer DENAS FOR METAL-PRIMER or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS FOR WOOD-PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, and this should be done in 1–2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. We recommend protecting wood in exterior from deep with suitable impregnating agents with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates by coating with penetrating agent in 1–2 layers and then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

In normal use, there are no situations that would require immediate medical attention. Recommendations: When working, follow the principles of personal hygiene. Ensure ventilation of the workplace. When applying by spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with running water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of leftover paint and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in its original unopened container at least until the date indicated on the cap/lid.
