DENAS UNIVERSAL SATIN is a satin finish, water-based top coat for building elements and structures made of wood, metal, fresh galvanized sheet metal, galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, some types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, drywall. It meets the standard for surface finishes of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. Coatings have excellent resistance, do not chalk, or become brittle due to UV radiation and weathering, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. Painted surfaces are extremely mechanically durable and show a long lifespan both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, item 12, and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water determined by Ministry of Health Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., in its valid version for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures to ensure that the product placed on the market complies with the technical documentation and basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinted outside the manufacturer's premises.
Application procedure:
The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, loose layers of old coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1-2 layers of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION BASE for METALS or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the DENAS UNIVERSAL top coat in 1-2 layers. For wooden substrates, first unify with DENAS FOR WOOD BASE or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1-2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. For outdoor wood, we recommend protection to a depth with a suitable impregnating agent with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates by applying 1-2 layers of primer followed by DENAS UNIVERSAL top coat in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:
Under normal use, there are no situations where immediate medical assistance would be necessary. Recommendations: When working, observe personal hygiene principles. Ensure proper ventilation of the workspace. When spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.
Waste disposal:
Dispose of leftover paint and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains utility properties in its original unopened packaging at least until the date indicated on the cap.
