DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal, and concrete, 0462 dark blue, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a top water-based paint for coatings of building elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal, as well as galvanized roofing shingles, aluminum, some types of plastics, fiberboard, ceramic tiles with silane additive, drywall. It meets the standards for surface coatings of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for food contact. Coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk or become brittle due to UV radiation and weather conditions, and are resistant to cleaning agents used in the household. Painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and show a long lifespan in both interior and exterior conditions.

The product is safe under the specified conditions of use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products intended for children under 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, item 12, and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for food and drinking water contact, set by the Ministry of Health Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure that the product placed on the market complies with the technical documentation and the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of tests when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Working procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1-2 coats of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION PRIMER or DENAS 2IN1 METAL, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. For wooden substrates, first unify with DENAS WOOD PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a 1:1 ratio with water, in 1-2 layers depending on the wood's absorbency. Then perform the topcoat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. For exterior wood, we recommend protecting it deeply with a suitable impregnating agent with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with 1-2 layers of primer and subsequently with the top coating paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coat is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

Under normal use, there are no situations where immediate medical assistance would be required. Recommendation: Follow personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure ventilation of the workplace. When applying by spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of leftover paints and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its utility properties in the original unopened container for at least until the date indicated on the lid.
