DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a water-based top coat for coating construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, concrete, fresh galvanized sheet metal, galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, certain types of plastics, melamine, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, and drywall. It meets the standard for surface finishes of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent resistance, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to UV radiation and weather effects, and are resistant to household cleaning products. Coated surfaces are extremely mechanically durable and exhibit long-lasting performance both indoors and outdoors.

Application procedure:
The substrate must be dry, free of impurities, non-adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1-2 layers of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION PRIMER or DENAS 2IN1 FOR METALS, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS FOR WOOD PRIMER or thinned DENAS UNIVERSAL in a 1:1 ratio with water, applied in 1-2 layers based on the absorbency of the wood. Then carry out the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. It is recommended to protect wood in outdoor applications to a depth with suitable penetrating agents with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a primer in 1-2 layers and subsequently use the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.
