DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0620 yellow, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a water-based paint for coating construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roof sheets, aluminum, certain types of plastics, formica, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, drywall. It meets the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children from 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent resistance, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to UV radiation and weathering, and are resistant to cleaning agents used in households. Coated surfaces are extremely resistant to mechanical wear and exhibit long durability in both interior and exterior environments.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as established by the Regulation of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure that the product marketed complies with the technical documentation and with the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application Procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, loose layers of old coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 layers of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION PRIMER or DENAS 2IN1 PRIMER, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. For wooden substrates, first unify with DENAS WOOD PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1–2 layers depending on the wood's absorbency. Then perform the top coating with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. For outdoor wood, we recommend protection to a suitable depth using a wood preservative with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates by applying 1–2 layers of primer and subsequently the top coating with DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.
