DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT topcoat for wood, metal and concrete, 0620 yellow, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a water-dilutable topcoat for coatings of building elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, some types of plastics, hardboard, ceramic tiles with added silane, gypsum board. It meets the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk or become brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and weather, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. The coated surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and exhibit a long lifespan both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets the hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years old (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets the hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as specified by MZČR Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure that the product placed on the market is in accordance with the technical documentation and the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinted outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, non-adherent layers of older coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1–2 layers of DENAS NA KOV-ZÁKLAD anti-corrosive primer or DENAS NA KOVY 2V1, then apply the topcoat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. For wooden substrates, first unify with DENAS NA DŘEVO-ZÁKLAD or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1-2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then, perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. We recommend protecting exterior wood to a depth with a suitable impregnating agent with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a coating in 1-2 layers of a penetrating agent followed by the top coating DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

In usual use, there are no situations that would require immediate medical attention. Recommendation: Follow personal hygiene principles when working. Ensure ventilation of the workspace. When spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse with plenty of water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of paint residues and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its properties in the original unopened packaging for a minimum of the date indicated on the lid.
