DENAS UNIVERZÁL-SATIN top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0240 dark brown, 0.7 kg

DENAS UNIVERZÁL SATIN is a semi-matt, water-dilutable top coat for coatings of building elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, freshly galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, certain types of plastics, fibrepanel, ceramic tiles with a silane additive, drywall. It complies with the standards for surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk or become brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and weather, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. Coated surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and exhibit a long lifespan in both interior and exterior conditions.

The product is safe when used as intended and meets hygienic requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets hygienic requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by Regulation of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures that ensure compliance of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1-2 layers of anti-corrosion primer DENAS NA KOV-ZÁKLAD or DENAS NA KOVY 2V1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERZÁL in 1-2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS NA DŘEVO-ZÁKLAD or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERZÁL in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1-2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then carry out the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. We recommend protecting exterior wood deeply with a suitable impregnating agent with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a primer coat in 1-2 layers and then with the top coat DENAS UNIVERZÁL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature during application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70 %.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

In usual use, there are no situations where immediate medical assistance would be required. Recommendation: Follow personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure ventilation in the workplace. When spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of leftover paint and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original unopened container at least until the date indicated on the lid.
