DENAS UNIVERZÁL-SATIN topcoat for wood, metal and concrete, 0240 dark brown, 0.7 kg

DENAS UNIVERZÁL SATIN is a water-dilutable covering paint in a satin finish, designed for coatings of building elements and structures made of wood, metals, construction materials, freshly galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing templates, aluminum, selected types of plastics, melamine, ceramic tiles with silane additive or drywall. It complies with the standard for coatings of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The resulting paint film exhibits significant durability, does not chalk, does not become brittle under UV radiation and weathering, and resists common household cleaning agents. Coated surfaces provide exceptional mechanical resistance and long durability both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under intended use conditions and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children aged up to 3 years (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets the hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by MZČR Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has adopted measures that ensure compliance of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of approvals when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, non-adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1-2 coats of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION BASE or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the topcoat DENAS UNIVERZÁL in 1-2 coats. Wooden substrates should first be treated with DENAS WOOD BASE or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERZÁL in a 1:1 ratio with water, in 1-2 coats depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 coats. For outdoor wood, we recommend protecting it deeply with a suitable impregnant with biocidal effects. For mineral substrates, protect with a primer in 1-2 coats, followed by the top coat DENAS UNIVERZÁL in 1-2 coats. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the paint is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

In normal use, there are no situations where immediate medical assistance would be necessary. Recommendation: When working, follow personal hygiene principles. Ensure ventilation of the workspace. Use respiratory protection when spraying. In case of eye contact, rinse with flowing water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of leftover paint and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original unopened packaging for at least until the date indicated on the lid/cap.
