DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT topcoat for wood, metal and concrete, 0250 rosewood, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT represents a top water-based paint designed for coatings of building elements and structures made of wood, metal, substrates, freshly galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, selected types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane or drywall. It complies with the standard for the surface treatment of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is also suitable for contact with food. The coatings exhibit excellent durability, do not chalk or become brittle due to UV radiation or weathering effects, and resist common household cleaning agents. Coated surfaces demonstrate extreme mechanical resistance along with a long lifespan in both interior and exterior applications.

The product is safe under the conditions of designated use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets the hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, stipulated by MZČR Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., in the current wording for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure the product's compliance with technical documentation and essential requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adherent layers of older coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 coats of the anti-corrosive primer DENAS NA KOV-ZÁKLAD or DENAS NA KOVY 2V1, then apply the topcoat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS NA DŘEVO-ZÁKLAD or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1–2 coats depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. We recommend protecting outdoor wood to a depth with a suitable wood preservative with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a coat of penetrating agent in 1–2 layers and then the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and relative humidity up to 70%.
