DENAS DO GARÁŽE color for heavy-duty surfaces and concrete floors, Ral 7040 gray, 5 kg + 1 kg hardener

DENAS DO GARÁŽE is a two-component water-based epoxy paint for concrete floors. The paint is intended for coatings of concrete floors, walls, structures in heavily stressed environments such as garages, warehouses, basements, staircases, workshops, food and chemical industries, where high mechanical and chemical resistance, slip resistance, and easy maintenance are required. It is suitable for movement by hot tires. The paint is not suitable for final coatings in outdoor applications.

It meets the requirements of the standard ČSN EN ISO 1504-2: Product for surface protection - coatings. Declaration of properties no. 004.

Composition (general):

A mixture of epoxy resin, pigments, fillers, and special additives.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be solid, dry, free of dirt and grease. Poorly adhering concrete surface must be sanded or mechanically removed, and primed with a penetration agent (for example, Remal Deep Penetration). Before application, the DENAS DO GARÁŽE paint and DENAS DO GARÁŽE HARDENER are mixed in the ratio of 5:1, ensuring continuous mixing with a mixing device (e.g., a drill with a mixer) while adding the hardener to the paint. Manual mixing is unacceptable! After mixing both components, the mixture should rest for 5 minutes, and the consistency for application should be adjusted as needed by adding 10-20% water from the prepared mixture. The processability of the prepared mixture after mixing is a maximum of 2 hours. The paint is applied to the substrate with a brush, roller, or spraying in two or more layers depending on the requirements for the final properties of the coating. The interval between individual applications is at least 24 hours. The temperature of the air and substrate during application and drying of the paint must not drop below +15 °C, with humidity up to 70%. Floors painted with DENAS DO GARÁŽE can be fully loaded (by vehicle operation, standing furniture, etc.) after 5 days from application.

Instructions for safe handling:

If medical assistance is required, keep the product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Do not inhale aerosols. Use only outdoors or in well-ventilated areas. Wear protective gloves/clothing/goggles/face shield. IN CASE OF EYE CONTACT: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor. Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations by handing them over to a waste disposal professional or to a designated municipal site.

Safety and hygiene:

Follow personal hygiene rules. In case of skin contamination, wash the affected area with water and soap. If the eyes are affected, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention. If swallowed, rinse the mouth with water, do not induce vomiting, and seek medical attention. Warning: After mixing with the hardener, follow the instructions provided on the label of DENAS GARÁŽ HARDENER.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of leftover paints and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original unopened container at least until the date indicated on the lid.
