DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a top water-based paint for coatings of building elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal, galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, certain types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, gypsum board. It meets the standard for surface finishes of products and toys for children from 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for food contact. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk, and do not become brittle due to UV radiation and weather conditions, they are resistant to household cleaning agents. The painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and exhibit a long lifespan in both interiors and exteriors.

The product is safe under the specified conditions of use and meets the hygiene requirements for toys and products for children aged up to 3 years (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as stipulated by Decree of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic No. 38/2001 Coll., in the applicable version for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has adopted measures to ensure compliance of the product placed on the market with technical documentation and essential requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.
Application procedure:
The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1–2 coats of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION BASE or DENAS ON METALS 2IN1, then apply the topcoat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 coats. For wooden substrates, first unify with DENAS WOOD-BASE or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL in a ratio of 1:1 with water, and apply in 1–2 coats according to the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coating with undiluted paint in 1–2 coats. For exterior wood, we recommend protection to a depth with a suitable impregnating agent with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a coat of penetrating agent in 1–2 layers and subsequently with the top coating paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 coats. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70 %.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:
Under normal use, there are no situations where immediate medical assistance would be necessary. Recommendations: Observe personal hygiene principles when working. Ensure ventilation of the workplace. When spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with a stream of water.
Waste disposal:
Dispose of paint residues and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original unopened packaging for at least the date indicated on the lid.
