DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0421 light blue, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a top water-dilutable paint for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, freshly galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, some types of plastics, chipboard, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, drywall. It meets the standard for surface finishes of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk or become brittle due to UV radiation and weather conditions, and are resistant to cleaning agents used in households. The painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and show a long lifespan in both indoor and outdoor environments.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets the hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets the hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by the MZČR Decree No. 38/2001 Coll., in valid wording for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure the compliance of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of the certificates when tinted outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1-2 coats of anticorrosive primer DENAS ON METAL-PRIMER or DENAS ON METALS 2in1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 coats. For wooden substrates, first, unify with DENAS ON WOOD-PRIMER or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1-2 coats depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 coats. It is recommended to protect wood in outdoor environments to a depth with a suitable impregnating agent with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a coat of penetrating agent in 1-2 coats and subsequently with the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 coats. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity must be below 70%.

Safety and hygiene of the paint for wood and metal:

Under normal use, there are no situations requiring immediate medical assistance. Recommendations: Follow personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure ventilation of the workplace. Use respiratory protection when spraying. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of leftover paint and soiled containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original unopened container at least until the date indicated on the cap/lid.
