Interior dispersion white covering paint Het Hetmal Plus with high covering ability - recommended for commercial and living spaces, offices, schools, corridors, industrial applications. Het Hetmal Plus is suitable for indoor wall and ceiling coatings, lime and lime-cement plasters, concrete panels and monoliths, designated paper wallpapers, etc. The paint is suitable for repainting old load-bearing layers of interior paints. The product meets the requirements for coatings of surfaces that may come into indirect and direct accidental contact with food. The coating creates a matte, vapor-permeable surface that is resistant to standard humidity in rooms and is resistant to abrasion with a dry cloth. The coated surface must not be in constant contact with water and must not be exposed to condensing moisture. The dried coating can temporarily withstand temperatures around 70 °C. Shade:
white, tinting can be done with HETCOLOR tinting colors (max. in a ratio of 1:5 parts of paint)

Coverage:
8 - 12 m²/kg in one layer depending on the absorbency and structure of the substrate and the thickness of the applied layer

Drying time:
at least 4 hours at 20 °C and 60% relative humidity of the air

Application:
with a brush, paint rollers (perlon, polyacrylic, polyamide), small areas with a brush, large surface application by AIRLESS spraying. When applying by spraying, it is advisable to conduct tests on the specific device beforehand. The temperature of the material, environment, and substrate must be between +5 and +30 °C during application and for 24 hours after application.

Substrate:
dry, cohesive, free of dirt and biological infestation (mold, algae), non-salted, non-greasy, free from formwork oils, chemically stable, matured (pH ≤8.5; control can be done with a pH tester).

Example of the application procedure:

1. Before application, the paint must always be properly mixed. When mixing, make sure that air does not enter the material and cause foaming of the paint.
2. The priming coat is applied with paint diluted with up to 0.5 l of water per 1 kg of paint. For smooth substrates, a penetrating agent UP-GRUND is used for the priming coat, very absorbent substrates are primed with A-GRUND or AT-GRUND agents. If the substrate is cohesive, non-dusting, and has low absorbency from an original coat, a priming coat is not necessary. Layers of old coatings with insufficient adhesion must be scraped off in advance. Stains from leaking water, rust, soot, aniline dyes, or nicotine must first be coated with insulating paint I-GRUND or, in case of higher intensity, with paint HETLINE IZOL.
3. After the priming coat has dried, apply 1 to 2, or according to need more, covering coats with paint diluted with a maximum of 0.3 liters of water per 1 kg of paint. WARNING: excessive dilution of the paint reduces its covering ability and may worsen the properties of the paint.
4. All tools should be protected against drying during work breaks and washed with water after work. Dirty spots should be washed immediately with water; dried paint is difficult to remove. Ensure thorough ventilation during application and drying.
