Application of Het Klasic Color:

For interior coatings of walls and ceilings, lime, lime-cement, gypsum-lime and gypsum plasters, plasterboard, fiberboard and wood fiber boards, plasters with acrylic binders, repair plasters (meets the requirements of directive WTA CZ No. 2-9-04/D, table 4 limiting the use of covering layers on repair plasters in terms of permeability for water vapor), concrete panels and monoliths, designated paper wallpapers, fiberglass wallpapers, etc. Also suitable for application on substrates with a combination of, for example, mineral plasters and plasterboard. The product meets the requirements for coatings of surfaces that may come into indirect and direct random contact with food. The coating creates a matte, highly vapor-permeable surface that is resistant to standard humidity in rooms and resistant to abrasion with dry materials.

The coated surface must not be in constant contact with water and must not be exposed to condensing moisture. The dried coating can temporarily withstand temperatures around 70 °C. The paint is suitable for painting residential and commercial spaces, children's rooms, dining rooms, hallways, offices, sales areas, etc.

Paint yield Het Klasic Color::
6 – 10 m²/kg in one layer depending on the absorbency and structure of the substrate and the thickness of the applied layer.

Application of Het Klasic Color paint:
Recommended application – with painter's rollers (perlon, polyacrylic, polyamide), brush; small areas - with a brush; large-scale application – by AIRLESS, HVLP spraying. When spraying, it is advisable to perform tests on the specific equipment in advance.

Substrate:
Dry, cohesive, free from dirt and biological attack (molds, algae), not salted, non-greasy, free from formwork oils, chemically stable, mature (pH ≤8.5; control can be performed with a pH tester).

Application temperature:
The temperature of the material, environment, and substrate must be between +5 and +30 °C during application and for 24 hours after application.

Application procedure:

1. Use a primer coat with paint diluted with a maximum of 0.3 liters of water per 1 kg of paint, or a penetrating agent A-GRUND or AT-GRUND, in the case of plasterboard and other low-absorbent or extremely smooth substrates with UP-GRUND. If the substrate is a non-powdering, low-absorbent original coating film, applying a primer coat is not necessary. Layers of old coatings with insufficient adhesion are recommended to be scraped off.
2. After the primer coat has dried, 1–2 covering coats of paint diluted with a maximum of 0.1 liters of water per 1 kg of paint are applied. For new or significantly differently tinted substrates, more covering coats may be applied as needed.
